Mister Coppin is a spacious cafe with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating located on Coppin Street Richmond, just off Bridge Road.
Visiting for breakfast we opted to sit outside and ordered the Mediterranean Breakfast and Pink Panther Hotcake to share along with coffee and tea to drink. Everything came out beautifully presented.
My friend and I both loved the Mediterranean Breakfast. This tasty plate features sujuk, halloumi, tabouli salad, poached eggs, marinated olives, a potato & leek croquette, zaatar and spiced pita bread with hummus. Everything on the plate worked together beautifully. I loved the flavour from the halloumi and sujuk. If you’re looking for a satisfying and filling dish it’s hard to go past this.
The pink Panther Hotcake was very pretty. The red velvet Hotcake was soft and fluffy perfect for absorbing the mixed berry cream, maple syrup and raspberry sorbet. The dish is on the sweeter side perfect for a sweet tooth. I loved the fresh berries on top.
Overall I had a wonderful experience at Mister Coppin. The team are friendly, coffees were great and the food was lovely. I recommend you check them out if in the area and rate it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ out of 5. Thanks very much...
Read moreWas my first time coming to this cafe. Barista and waiter were friendly upon arrival. We did have some trouble getting the staff to come back to grab our orders. Then food took some time to arrive, which was surprising since it wasn’t overly busy or not all of the tables were full. They did apologise for the delay which was good.
Food wise there is a mix of sweet and savoury on the menu plus a few lunch dishes. We stuck to savoury and had the beef brisket Benedict eggs and the Turkish eggs. The beef brisket was flavoursome and they paired it with a sweet gravy and the eggs were topped with a chipotle mayo. The spice was mild so probably would’ve like a bit more chilli. The Turkish eggs were not to my personal liking mainly due to not liking the yogurt sauce but the eggs and bread were nice. The coffee flavour was great.
Not sure if I will go back again as the food didn’t wow me and the service needs some...
Read moreThis place is a hidden gem. I’ve been here a few times for breakfast and coffee because it’s just so darn good. I’m a local and wanted to give the dinner menu a go after hearing they were extending their hours. Honestly, the food is yum and well presented. Even when it’s busy it comes out quickly. They’re ones for the small finer touches that I think go a long way and sets them apart from other venues in the area. Really good value for money. Better still, no onion in the salad, woohoo!! If you have a pooch, they have outdoor seating with heaters. I’ll be back and I hope others reading this will give your evening menu a shot. Would love to see you guys thrive. I really think you deserve it. All the best, and see you...
