Mixue Ice Cream & Tea — Restaurant in Melbourne

This has become one of my go-to spots whenever I’m in the city. Whether I’m in the mood for a quick ice cream or a refreshing drink, Mixue always delivers — and it’s incredibly cheap!

🍦 The vanilla soft serve is something I keep coming back for. It’s smooth, milky, and the portion is huge for the price. Honestly, it’s hard to find anywhere else that gives you this kind of value.

🧋 I’ve tried several drinks, including the Mango Pomelo Taro and the Strawberry Pomelo Taro. Both are light, refreshing, and not overly sweet. I like that I can adjust the ice and sugar levels, and it always tastes fresh. Perfect for a warm day (or even when it’s cold – I still buy it 😅).

📍The Spencer branch is super convenient – just steps away from Southern Cross Station. Service is fast, and even when there’s a queue, it moves quickly.

💸 Everything is really affordable. Most items are just a few dollars, so it’s easy to treat yourself often without feeling guilty. I honestly eat here way more than I should 😆

I previously bought milk tea here where the prices are great. But my most recent experience was very disappointing. When ordering we noticed that the kiosks had a very long line and we were quite in a hurry. So we approached the counter instead hoping to order considering there was an eftpos machine. We politely asked if we could order but the staff member serving us was picky about us paying with card and not cash. This affordable dessert spot has opened up a second store in Melbourne which you can find inside Southern Cross Station.

Starting with the ice cream - these guys aren't messing around when they say king cone and the soft serve itself was so creamy and delish. Will no doubt be getting another one of these in my next visit!

Would also highly recommend trying the mango shake. I'm pretty sure it contains a bit of their soft serve in the mix so you're basically getting two desserts in one if you really think about it!
