Modena gives strong throwback vibes – like the kind of nostalgic sandwich you’d have growing up, and it really hit the spot. Had a classic schnitzel roll for $13 and it was solid. Fresh salads, soft roll, and they slapped on the butter mayo just like the old days.

There were a bunch of lovely older ladies behind the counter making the sandwiches, which added to the charm. Only knock was the tomato being a bit under-ripe (still slightly green), but overall it was fresh and tasty.

There are new owners here now and it's awesome! Old school food, with the mother and aunty cooking and preparing the goods out the back with love. ❤ The house special, Schnitzel and Egg & Bacon Rolls are to die for, so fresh and tasty.
