Ordered couple drinks and two muffins and they packed it up all in one single tray. Unfortunately coffee spilled over to the muffins when I carried the tray to the table. Manager refused to do anything. No offer for exchange, didn’t ask if anyone got hurt. Just want to let you all know this is the worst shop ever.
Be really careful you won’t get anything compensated as when you walk out the shop, everything is down to you. Manager is so arrogant and and rude. She said, “It’s your fault, we have no table service, so when you walk out, everything is down to you” So arrogant! In her words, they have no responsibility whatsoever. No compassion, not give a damn about if my son got spilled over is alright. All they care is MONEY. Staff put everything in one single tray and don’t care if you can enjoy the food or drink at all. Once you take the tray, spill over, it’s all yours. Thanks for her wonderful advice. Would opt for a shop offers table service,...

I had heard from people there was one that was rude and i had a chance to see for myself today. She is the young one with thick drawn on eyebrows She rudely served the customers in front of me and then started to make their coffee whilst doing so looks at me and says "what do you want?" I tell her my order "a small long black" and she rolls her eyes. I make a face and the other staff member comes along and places my order and takes payment. Eyebrows says something to the other staff member in Chinese and the other staff member replies "why are you always like this, this is your job"
I get my coffee and another customer comes along and eyebrows greets him with "yeah?"

Read moreMuffin Break have terrible coffee at The Glen Despite boasting an "award-winning blend", their staff are completely under-trained in how to make a good coffee. I would assume that some of their, "baristas" don't drink coffee, therefore have no understanding or appreciation of a proper grind, or quality control
Too many times I get a weak, flavourless coffee that resembles the drip-filter at McDonald's from the 1980s. Most recently, my piccolo latte - a coffee easy to make, tasted like coffee-flavoured water. No body, no punch. Either the grinder had not been adjusted, the coffee not taste-tested ,or they're over-extracting the coffee grounds from last week.
Do yourself a favour and get a real coffee at Degani.
Award-winning blends are absolutely useless if you hire staff that can't get the...
