Sensational food, drinks and grounds with baby. Had the brisket roll and mushroom, truffled porcini and Swiss cheese sourdough toastie. Brisket was amazing and super soft and tasty. Toastie was also flavoursome. Had the mulled wine which was delicious and great for a winter day. We had a bub and high chair supplied and plenty of space out front on nice lawn to play while waiting for food. There are also amazing views of city and river out back for a walk to work off lunch. Highly recommend. To top it off staff were very friendly and accomodating.

The staff and team at Myrtle are absolutely wonderful. Ellen and all the staff helped me pull together a lastminute baby shower for a group of 20 with ease and zero stress. The suggested catering options were perfect (and delicious!) and the brunch cocktail options for those who were getting a little boozy were exactly what we wanted. Food - delicious, Coffees - Amazing, Service - Top Notch & Space - Beautiful! Thank you again for a wonderful afternoon!

I’ve been coming to this cafe for over 10 years and was worried when new owners took over it wouldn’t be the same… but I needn’t have worried… Raj and Shiva have done a great job in making this a welcoming place… good breakfast and brunch… and my favorite… escargot… outside under cover means it’s very dog friendly… bit lawn out the front for better weather days… and inside a comfortable spot Great spot to stop if you’re cycling along Maribyrnong too

Recently, the cafe has declined in quality. The atmosphere feels tense, particularly when the male staff raise their voices. I miss the friendly conversations I used to have with the staff. The barista is still pleasant, but the chef and owner seem unwelcoming and irritated. There have been instances where I've had to ask for my coffee to be remade due to the man's preparation. Unfortunately, the cafe is no longer worth the price. Despite its convenient location, the sense of community and warmth is lacking. The male staff's inconsistency in attentiveness is noticeable, making me wonder why they're dismissive to me and my friends. Many others I've spoken to share similar sentiments, and it's apparent that the cafe is not as busy as it used to be. Despite the cost of living crisis, other cafes in the area seem to be maintaining their customer base. When I've brought friends who work nearby, they've had similar experiences, leading us all to patronize different places in...

My much loved local cafe. Wandering down to this cozy local was always a highlight. It has a new owner who has opened up operations in the last few weeks. I first visited two days after re-opening only to have my latte scolding hot and so bitter it was hard to drink, my partner had a hot chocolate which tasted so sugary with a slight hint of cocoa that we struggled to drink it. I went back today under the hope that they had been newly open and we're still finding their feet. However unfortunately I must report that although the latte was perfect temperature the coffee itself was still bitter and flavour less and I ended up throwing it away half way through, my partner wasn't as brave as I to return for the chocolate. And unfortunately since this was the major draw for us going here I can't say I have tried their lackluster pastries or new menu. I just really hope they can improve since the location and setting were...

Really enjoyed our extended stay at the cafe.

First of all the coffee was just perfect - rich and strong blend used for the long black white was rich in flavour, it really hit the spot.

Secondly - the cinnamon scrolls were outrageously good. Not only were they perfectly cooked (still fluffy and moist), the little addition of icing just added a perfect sweetness to make them a wonderful treat.

Thirdly, the service from the team was lovely and gentle. They were quick with the drinks and food, but also let us have time and space to talk as a group, and accommodated us when we wanted to move out of the sun and inside.

Thanks for a lovely cafe experience - delightful to be back after covid lockdown 2.0 to...
