Yes food is ok but don”t bother trying to order via the phone number. Been a regular customer for years, tried to call in my order as I always have but nobody would answer. I've just arrived and I'm checking out all of the different culture food that's available in Melbourne. This chicken shop has amazing food. I bought the Altona North happy hour special which is between $5 60 and $6 60 both days now. I have it with chips which were really crunchy and the mustard sauce is great and I was able to get chips and chicken and a Coca-Cola for just under $12. I really enjoy Nene Chicken and have been to several of their stores. Most are happy to make small changes, like swapping the sauce for bulgogi rice, or downgrading the salad to coleslaw in a lunchbox. Unfortunately, the Laverton store doesn’t allow this. The lady at the counter mentioned it’s the owner’s decision.

The food is still good. I just hope they consider being a bit more flexible with simple customer requests...
