Nepean Souvlaki — Restaurant in Melbourne

This is a update to my old review, everything said below is how it was before, I feel completely ripped off after spending $38 on two Souvlakis with a handful of chips and a can of soft drink, the Souvlaki was full of Lettuce and barely any meat at all, when I told the ignorant rude numpty behind the counter he laughed at me... I can most certainly will never go back to this absolute dive, extremely over priced and low quality with no value for money.

I see a lot of mixed reviews about this place and so I will give a honest review based my own personal experience.. Nepean Souvlaki do a pretty nice Souvlaki, the Lamb is not processed meat loaf like most Kebab shops.. the Garlic Sauce is actual Garlic Sauce with a good amount of Garlic in it, the pita is nice but not the nicest I've had,the customer service is good and always friendly, the location is awesome, I do think $14 is a bit steep with all things considered.

Honestly one of the worst experiences of customer service from a restaurant. Placed an order over menu log, confirmed delivery for about half an hour.. after an hour we called to see what had happened. Man answered the phone and was so rude, didn’t ask for our name or order simply told us we had to sort it out with menu log. He literally spoke over me telling me it wasn’t his problem. They are the restaurant, they confirmed the delivery time, they should be calling menu log to find out why their driver is late. I don’t care if they have the best food around, nothing is worth being spoken...

Soo rude and insulting. Absolutely ignored my comment to not to talk to me in the way they did. When I told them not to put garlic sauce in my falafel souvlaki as I'm vegan and just to make sure asked if there is anything else that needs to be excluded I got a rude scream like reply you tell me, we don't put. I asked again in different way what does falafel has inside and they had no idea, screaming at me and telling me not to talk to them that way. Needless to say we walked out of there and hope this business is not far from over as they are not worthy of any customers paying a cent...
