My 90 year old Dad and I came here for lunch quite by chance, with zero familiarity with this type of cuisine, but we're both adventurous. We shared the Braised Beef Tails (E5) and the Spicy Tripe Stir Fry (F13) and both were absolutely delicious. I'm really looking forward to trying out lots of the other dishes on the menu. The manager came over to chat briefly, which was nice. We were able to ask a couple of questions, and he recommended that their hand-pulled noodles are a very special treat. He revealed that he had been surprised by our menu choices and was glad we came.

There is some confusion in the menu, with a few of the "beef" dishes probably/actually being lamb, but I can't see that causing too many people any upset. All up, it was a flavoursome fortunate find and...

We tried to reserve the table. However, it declined. Maybe they just dont take google booking?

The highlight of the meal was definitely the Dapanji (Big Plate Chicken). The chicken was tender, and the sauce was rich and flavorful, coating the noodles beautifully. The combination of spices and the slight heat made it very satisfying.

However, the grilled items were a bit disappointing. The Samsai (oven cooked buns) and lamb skewers lacked the crispy, charred exterior that makes them so irresistible. Instead, they were a bit too soft and moist, which took away from the usual smoky, grilled flavor.

Despite that, the meal was still enjoyable, and I’d definitely return for the Dapanji and maybe try some other...

Never having experienced Uyghur cuisine before it was with great anticipation we came here for dinner tonight and I’m delighted to say we were not disappointed. The food was absolutely delicious and different to anything we’ve tried previously. Our waiter Leo was delightful. He was courteous, friendly and happy to explain the finer points of the menu and guide us with our choices. Any questions were happily dealt with. The servings were extremely generous and the house-made noodles silky smooth and delicious. In fact, everything we ordered was sensational and the flavours truly divine. We can’t wait to return and try more of their amazing food. So happy to have discovered this jewel in...

8th Nov. Ordered the lamb skewers, stir fry eggplant and mixed salad. All very tasty. There was an event on in restaurant so was a bit noisy with the "locals" gathering. Service was a bit disjointed, and it would have been nice if all dishes came out together, which is what we had expected/ wanted. Lots of very traditional dishes with tongue, tripe, offal etc, so be on your toes when ordering. Restaurant nicely decorated with pieces from the region. Lots of lamb dishes! The skewers were great. Eggplant was good but would have been better if crispy. Salad tasty but small for price paid. Hours of restaurant have changed and it appears the place is not overly popular.
