If I could give no star I would. I’m sick so my partner ordered us pho as it always helps me feel better, and our Vietnamese neighbour has been raving about this place so we thought we’d give it a try. I heard the order on my end and we were clear we wanted chicken and veg pho and beef and veg pho. We got stir fry. Looks like it’s full of MSG and I’m allergic to it. Inedible not to mention I really needed chicken pho right now because I’m sick and I got this horrible stir fry! We called to let them know what they’ve done and the woman on the phone just blatantly said we ordered this. I literally heard my partner place the order and I know that’s a lie. Why would we want stir fry with no rice? If we wanted stir fry we’d have ordered rice with it, but pho comes with noodles! Definitely won’t be back total lack of respect for their customers, refuse to take responsibility for their mistake or apologise and lie about what customers have ordered.. it wasn’t even that they got it wrong, it’s the totally rude dismissive response we got afterwards when we called back. Probably just a staff member trying to save their on skin… plus it was expensive...

The 4 of us had dinner at Pho 55 Saturday evening. When we arrived the restaurant was busy; our table was waiting for us. We have had a late lunch, all four of us so this time we only had main courses/ Boneless duck in tamarind sauce, Sizzling lamb with lemongrass an chili and Combination rice noodles were our choices and they were all beyond delicious. On previous visits we did have entrees, I am very keen on Beef Lalop while my wife is partial to San Choi Bau. We had also enjoyed their Pho noodle soups. We have been regulars at this restaurant since the year it opened and we nave never been disappointed. Tau, runs the front of house assisted by very able staff while her husband is the chef "extra-ordinaire". The serves are generous, the choices many! A short but reasonable wine list compliments the extensive menu. On this occasion we drank Corona beer. I have never left Pho 55 without being fully satisfied.
