My aunt introduced me and my family to this lovely cafe. We went here with a few of our family’s friends and had enjoyed every visit! I met the owner and she was so nice!! Her staffs were really nice aswell!! The coffee and food (especially their muffins) here were EXCEEDINGLY GOOD. I would 100% recommend yall to visit this cozy cafe especially during winter because they have the fire place on and it just gets even cozier.

Consistent friendly and good customer service from the staff, ways happy and polite. The owner is wonderful and brings so much warmth. Their coffee's and teas are great, very good selection of food, some priced really well, some a little pricey. Cosy inside and nice outdoor area with a heater you can use!

Been to Prickly pear cafe a couple of times, both take away and dine in their coffee and hot beverages are amazing. The coffee fragrance and nutiness great and the milk temperature is right on spot. They also have lovely backyard that you can enjoy food and drink on a sunny day in Melbourne ā¤ļø

Came here for lunch with a friend a little while back. Water glasses were dirty, the smashed avocado toast was very underwhelming and overpriced for what it was (I see a previous reviewer has pointed this out), my smoothie wasn’t blended properly, I asked for no cheese or eggs and was served feta, and towards the end of our meal we discovered that the fillets of chicken in my friend’s chicken salad were completely raw on the inside. The waitress seemed horrified when we pointed this out, but the solution offered was either to have the meal remade (a little late in the piece for that) or a measly 15% discount… so we were made to pay for potential salmonella poisoning. I have worked in hospitality and I believe the floor staff here seemed to have not received adequate training from management. I really don’t like leaving bad reviews but this was a really disappointing and unsafe experience, and we definitely won’t be...

I have very high brunch standards and with many great spots on the Peninsula where I live, I’m always a bit nervous to try a new spot. Cornfritter with chilli scrambled eggs, avocado, bacon + tomato relish was so incredibly delicious and very reasonably priced, I even said to my friend I would make the effort to come back here for it whenever I’m back up this way. The food was so yummy we decided to get a cake each which was extremely moist and really satisfying. On top of this Zoe’s bubbly and welcoming personality really made this such a lovely brunch experience ā˜ŗļø thank you so much, can’t wait...

My mate and I, both longtime hospitality veterans, had a fantastic experience catching up at Prickly Pear Cafe in Malvern. It's rare to find a spot where the staff genuinely love what they do – you can tell by the way they enthusiastically share the specials. The coffee was spot-on, perfectly brewed and just what we needed to kickstart our day. The food is fresh, seasonal, and thoughtfully prepared, making it a pleasure to enjoy every bite. It's a cozy, welcoming space that knows how to treat guests right, and it's definitely become one of our new favorite spots in the area. Highly...
