I recently tried the dinner menu at Peddler Kitchen. We ordered the Broken rice, Dry noodle with seafood, Sticky crispy chicken wings to eat along with the Flower of the bees for dessert. We got an Ice green tea matcha and a Peach ice tea to drink.
Everything we ordered was tasty and satisfying. The sticky crispy chicken wings were so good. They were crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, I couldn’t get enough.
The broken rice with pork chop was delicious and comforting. Whilst the dry noodles with seafood was full of flavour and filling.
I really enjoyed the flower of the bees dessert. Featuring pani puri, strawberry, lime chantilly, pistachio praline, honey & dried rose petal, it was a nice light dessert with a lovely hint of sweetness.
I recommend checking them out if you’re in the area.

Peddler Kitchen in Huntingdale serves up tasty banh mi, bun bowls, salad bowls, and rice paper rolls. I highly recommend checking them out if in the area.
Visiting for lunch we ordered to share a crackling pork banh mi, a crispy chicken bun bowl and prawn and grilled bbq pork rice paper rolls. For drinks we opted for a green tea matcha frappe and a coffee frappe.
Everything we ordered was delicious. The main go to when we were there was the banh mi. There was a steady stream of customers ordering it to go and it’s easy to see why. Made to order, the crunchy rolls are generously filled and full of flavour. The pork crackling was nice and crispy and worked beautifully with the fresh ingredients.
The bun bowl was light and refreshing. For the protein we went with crispy chicken and it was so good. If you’re after something even lighter the rice paper rolls are a great option. They can be purchased individually or as a set of three at a...

The Bun Bowl was just as fresh, crisp and fragrant as I like it. Oh so delicious. Although I am a sucker for a classic Banh Mi, it was nice to branch out and try a different take. The Fried Chicken Banh Mi actually surprised me with how much I enjoyed it as it had cheese in it too! But I ain’t complaining, cheese is life.
Highly recommended The Bò Né! Translating from Vietnamese to “Dodging Beef” it is often served for breakfast, but I’d honestly chow it down anytime of the day! It consisted of sizzled beef in this immaculate sauce, egg, pate, mayo, torched cream cheese and finished off with one of my fave herbs - Coriander🌿. Served with fresh soft white roll, you can dip, fill or eat how you please. This dish is only available at the...
Read moreNot a return visit but not my first time either. Having been to Peddler Tuckshop in the CBD for their lunch, I knew delightfully fresh flavours awaited me but having never been to Peddler Kitchen and never having tried their dinner I was definitely impressed not only by the extent of their menu, but by their extremely helpful staff and the quality and taste of the food which did not disappoint!
The sweet and sour chilli mayonnaise that accompanied the grilled chicken skewers was elite and you can never have too much tomato rice - the ultimate side to the crispy chicken.
With the choice of soupy or dry noodles, you are spoilt for choice. Opting for the non-soupy noodles with prawn and pork, there was nothing dry or bland about them and included plenty of pork and some super tasty springy noods.
And whether it be breakfast or dinner, you cannot go past the sizzling dodging beef. Personal opinion but this is the best dish in Vietnam, and after my most recent excursion to the culinary paradise, I can confirm that this was a true bò né experience!
Served with fresh tiger bread, caramelized onion, creamy pâte and a delicious pepper sauce, this steak and egg dish was true to style and a must eat.
And whether it be the flower of the bees or the green tumbler, always save room for dessert.
Impressed to say the least, a trip to Huntingdale is much cheaper than the alternative to enjoy such quintessentially iconic...
