I have been here many times before they opened the new business. The first time after Covid.
The experience I had is this new place last week Sunday lunch time.
Slow notice to waiting the long customer queue. ⚽️Kick the queue outside of the door after lining up inside🤣
🧐I saw the stack of chairs sitting next to the door. They could provide chairs🪑 to people who got kicked outside for the follow-up service. Nah, ☆1, No thoughts💔💙😢
Unique Chinese doughnuts (see photo) and typical YES for any English questions.
I asked, Is "Mix" on this menu meant "Mixed noodles?" The young male staff says yes, mix noodles. He speaks clear English but the Vietnamese dishonest attitude and upsells everything is "YES"🤑
I said I would like Beef mix and my son ordered Beef noodles.
The same male staff came and served the bowls 🥣 I raised my hand "The mix is mine".
He gave me the Beef noodles so I assumed the noodles would be a mix of egg noodles and rice noodles, right?
No! It wasn't.😣🤪
My son had my wrong order mix beef/chicken noodles😑, dah...
So I immediately acknowledged my bowl of beef noodles belonged to my son. Therefore, the male staff wasn't listening when he served us. I bet💴 he doesn't know the menu at all.
My son scooped chicken pieces for me and swapped them with my beef so I had a half portion of chicken pieces and no iron. I had to take an iron tablet💊 later because of the bad customer service.

Read moreI'm still dreaming about the heavenly beef pho I just had at Pho Thin restaurant in Springvale today. The moment the steaming bowl landed in front of me, the aroma transported me back to the bustling sidewalks of Vietnam, where Zart and I would indulge in authentic pho during our travels. Pho Thin's Hanoi-style pho is a masterclass in traditional Vietnamese cuisine with a rich, slow-simmered broth that's both nourishing and flavourful.
The rare beef slices, stir-fried to perfection with garlic, added a delightful texture and depth to the dish. I loved how the restaurant stayed true to its Hanoi roots, serving the pho with traditional condiments like Northern-style chili sauce and pickled garlic in vinegar. The generous portion size was satisfying, and the service was attentive and friendly.
What impressed me most was the consistency in quality – every sip and bite was a testament to the chef's expertise. Just like the pho vendors in Vietnam, Pho Thin's broth is crafted with love and care, making each bowl a labor of love. 🤍
If you're love pho like me, or just looking for a delicious and authentic Vietnamese meal, Pho Thin in Springvale is a must-visit destination. The nostalgia factor is real, and I'd highly recommend trying their signature dish – the "Stir-Fries Up" rare beef pho. I’ve also added extra meal balls for...
Read moreTook my friend there to try for the first time. Worst service and experience ever! Inside was full so they offered to set up a small table outside for us, we were okay with that. Not a problem! However, when we asked for a menu, we were told to go look at the one sticking on the entrance door. My friend was not Viet so he was trying to ask and describe what he wanted to a female staff, and dissapointly, received a very unfriendly and impatent kind of response. After the foods were served, we were told to share to sauce tray (chili sauce, vinigar, etc) with another serving table nearby. It was embarassing to go ask for it from another customers while they were eating but I did it anyway so that my friend could enjoy a complete Pho. Yet that was not all. When we asked for an extra piece of lime and the dark sauce (probably hoisin), we waited for awhile, never got it so we decided to go ahead and finish the thing in another dissapointment. The entire time, there was no paper tissue. There were 2 tea cups brought out on the table but no tea or tea bottle. Ah well...never mind. Maybe it was a bad time but I definitely won't come back nor will I recommend...
