I ordered toastie and a flat white here today. A male Asian staff member asked for my name to deliver the order and confirmed it again. However, he wrote my name as “Muay Thai.” Can someone’s name actually be Muay Thai? When he repeated my name after I told him, he pronounced it correctly. Other staff members were very kind and apologized, saying it seemed to be a mistake, but the staff member in question did not apologize, even though he was nearby. I was unsure if this was intentional because we are both Asian, but I left without raising an issue as I didn’t want to cause trouble. Still, I felt sad that this happened in such a kind and beautiful city, especially within a place known for its high standards and excellent educational institutions.

This is my favourite cafe in Melbourne. Very warm, friendly, lively vibes. The owners are terrific people with a great heart and have a talented team, day in day out aiming to provide the best coffee, food and service to patrons. A delight to have this cafe at the heart of the Melbourne uni community and servicing those who need an energy boost or just a smile to start or continue with their busy day - strongly rare this place and will be back.

Big fan of professors walk cafe, my fav in unimelb. Their services are always perfect, efficient and friendly. Also, the best part is it’s so close to Baillieu library. I always ask for a stamp every time I bought the coffee, good way to save money (have got 5 cups of almost free coffees already) love to professors walk cafes 🩷🩷🩷🫶🫶🫶☕️☕️☕️

Yuks!! After the fairly high pricing u end up with a muffin which is overheated n rubbery. Latte was one of the worst ive had...u know the kind where the milk seems to be a bit off or stale or cheap milk.... and the coffee in it is barely flavoring the milk. Whoever runs this cafe needs to seriously look into all aspects of mktg fr prdt to pricing. ..Ugghhh...

only the location was convenient nxt to the melb uni library...maybe thats why they dont care abt qlty cos there're many walk-in customers desperate for sm grub

I mean the offerings are so basic...u didnt think they cd go wrong... but it looks like a money churner.... hopefully not run by melb uni itself...i wd be so disappointed....

But yeah.... walk smwhere else... maybe they call it prof walk for a reason...cos if ure smart...youd walk away... smwhr else... hope to be more savvy in future n chk ratings...but whod think a cafe in melb uni cd go so wrong...

Oh my god! Smone just brought out a dirty filthy smelly mop and "cleaned" the floor..filling the space with the smell of bacterial rot... way to go melb uni@@@@@@@@@

Note: i found a tiny pc of light blue plastic in...

Firstly, it’s a convenient coffee, in an accessible on-campus location.

It means that you have to compromise a little, especially on wait times when it gets very busy.

But you don’t have to compromise on quality. I personally find the coffee here pretty good, and despite how busy it gets the wait times are good.

There seems to be a wide array of food items available, but I can’t comment on them as I’ve only had the coffee.

I haven’t had anything worth complaining about in regards to the coffee, but honestly it’s not something to write home about. It doesn’t offer you something you can’t get from other cafes.

What it does offer, is...
