We attended a family gathering of 16 people for a birthday. Our head waitress was Bree and she was fantastic. Very friendly and very attentive. All other staff that helped were also very friendly. We were seated in the restaurant area and the atmosphere was very pleasing and comfortable. There was a large birthday in another room and the placed was comfortable full and yet you could have a pleasant conversation and did not feel it was crowded. With the large numbers you could be concerned that the meals would take a long time to arrive. But the wait did not feel long at all. We ordered just about all possible main meal options as well as a few entrees. The consensus of all, and from what we saw, the meals were lovely and the size more than fair. I can't believe I didn't take any photos to share. We were all so happy and eager to eat the beautiful meals I simply forgot to take photos. This vibrant pub offers an exceptional local experience with its appetizing food and inviting atmosphere. While it can get quite lively and noisy, our overall dining experience was still delightful.

The beef burger, cooked to perfection, was an absolute delight. Its juiciness and impeccable flavour, combined with a generous serving size, made it a great value for the price. Equally impressive were the salmon and pork belly dishes, flawlessly cooked with a crispy skin and crackling.

The only hiccup we encountered was with the duck, which happened to be a special not included in the regular menu. Unfortunately, it was overcooked, making it tough and chewy. However, the accompanying sweet potato mash was nothing short of sublime, compensating for the slight disappointment.

Overall, this establishment is a fantastic local pub, offering great value for money with its reasonable prices. Its inviting ambiance, combined with delicious culinary creations, makes it a worthwhile dining destination...

I used to love coming to the rooftop here. Great atmosphere and nice food. However the last visit during the week was far from this. We has no service at all for our table and the food was very underwhelming with the chips being badly burnt and tasteless. The lady at the bar advised they no longer provide table service and advised we even needed to go pick up our drinks at the bar which had been waiting there for a while even though we had a table number. Didn't know we had to or how long our wine glasses they were just sitting there in front of people ordering drinks (not hygienic practice). Some of the service staff seemed more accommodating on other tables though so I think it depends on who helps you. When the food came out we asked if there was cutlery and we were advised to go get them ourselves at the bar even through the table next to us was given them alongside the food.
