[Update] May 2025: We gave it another try after a few years and it has certainly improved. So much so that we invited people from outside the suburb to dine in and they absolutely loved it. One improvement over the OG is the coffee quality, which is now very well made in terms of shot quality and alternative milk texturing. This is now probably one of the best coffee cups in the area. The other improvement is the menu, which offers a wide variety of proper vegan options -Not just remove this or that - and even has half serves on some plates, which I definitely appreciate. Overall, the whole experience has greatly improved, making it again a truly different place from every other cafe around and I recommend everyone in the area give it a go. October 2022 - Update: With the change in admin came a change in cuisine as well. The place is no longer strictly vegan and now offers some vegetarian and meat-based options. So, an ordinary menu. Nevertheless, it’s not the menu shift what changes my opinion of the place, but the fact that the food is no longer worth its price, as the flavour noticeably changed in all my former favourite dishes. The Umami Bowl is no longer umami in flavour, is too rich and salty; the Let’s get Smashed became an ordinary smashed avo with lime and salt, and increased in price; the pastries are probably the one thing that is just as good as before, having tried only a couple. On top of this, items such as the vegan egg and tofu scramble, which used to be part of some/most dishes, have been erased from the menu or became add-ons, which of course increases the price of meals even further. In summary, I wouldn’t say the place is as exciting as before. It is now an ordinary, expensive café. June 2022 - Unmatched: Not only compared to other vegan restaurants is this place unique, but also when you compare it against any other restaurant. The food is first class, beautifully presented and absolutely fulfilling. You can choose from a wide range of full meals, sweet or savoury pastries, or smoothies if you’re not that hungry, and I assure you you’ll be satisfied with your choice. And of course, the coffee is really good, as you’d expect. Lastly, maybe the most outstanding part of the experience is Zerin, the owner of the place, who will make you feel like a part of the family and will even let you, nay, encourage you to pet Arlo, her little Pomeranian fur ball who will keep you company for the entirety of your meal if you let him. All in all, this place is a whole new dining experience in and it is worth every cent, even for those non-vegan customers who just like good food. So look no further. Whenever you’re in Yarraville, this is the place you want to go to.

16 April 2019 I'm back to Melbourne for short visit. I wanna make sure I eat all the dishes that are not easily found in Bangkok. This is one of the places that's on my list. My first experience was so great that I wanna come back again. A friend drove me to this place for lunch today. It was a lot crowded last time as it was on weekend. Even for weekdays there were a good bunch of crowds. Today I ordered Nourish for lunch and Golden Latte for drink. As for my friend, she ordered Brandy for lunch and Ice Matcha Latte without Ice Cream. I saw the Hot Cross Bun on the counter, so I ordered one too given that I won't be here to celebrate Easter. My golden latte looks great and golden. The taste is good. The ice matcha latte looks a bit strange without the ice cream but my friend said, it tastes good. Here comes the hot cross bun. She didn't even warm it. I thought at least it should serve warm and with butter. A bit annoyed. My nourish arrives. It looks good. Love the big slice of roasted pumpkin. Love it. Definitely feel nourish after eating the whole bowl. My friend enjoys the brandy a lot. She said it's the best burger she has ever tried. A bit salty but it goes well when have with the buns. Overall the experience is not as great as the first time. Staff members are not as cheerful and as welcoming as the first time. Food and drink are great except for the hot cross bun. Will I come back to this place again in my next visit to Melbourne? Absolutely.😊 Aug 2018 I'm a big fan of healthy cafe. This place is not far from the Yarraville Train Station. The first think I received the moment I walked inside was the big smile from their friendly staffs. They do have a good selection in the menu. I ordered Magic and it is yummy. I also ordered Golden Latte, which I think is very unique. It tastes great with turmeric, ginger, cinnamon and coconut milk. This is really a must try place if you love to look after yourself from inside out.😆

Tried this place a few years ago, wasn't a fan. With new management went back this morning and was not disappointed. Great coffee, all those types of milk would give a headche repeating all day but great for those with intolerance. Great that they are vegan based with additions for those of us not vegan. Friend ordered the pancakes and smelt and looked amazing, she will be bringing her daughter back. She loved the ice cream said it tasted handmade. Friend and I, small eaters so we shared the smashed avo, and was amazing! Not everyone can get smashed avo right but this was amazing. Cosy little cafe in the village, friendly staff and chef.

This place USED to be amazing, I would have eaten here at least 50 times. However, sadly the new owners of only a few months have let standards & service slip quite significantly.

Today we waited 20 mins for a takeaway coffee & smoothie & still didn’t receive it!! We ended up asking for a refund & that took a further 5 mins to arrange b/c they couldn’t work out the price or how to refund it?! 2 staff members didn’t seem to know what they were doing. One used a snotty hanker chief to blow her nose then, (without washing her hands) picked up clean coffee cups to move them to another space. Ewwwwwwww:( People were getting served wrong orders, the takeaway coffees were banking up to 12 cups before ours & it seemed in house orders were prioritized over take away (with about 10 people waiting for takeaway drinks for 15+ mins). In the time we waited (20 mins) only 6 hot drinks were made. The cafe was less than half full which surprised me b/c normally on Father’s Day it would be packed….but now I understand why. To add to this, the staff are not friendly or polite & the amount of insincere apologies being offered for order mix ups & delays was very telling.

It USED to be completely vegan, but now offers animal meat, cheese etc I think the previous owner Zerin would be really sad to hear the business she worked so hard to build as the “go to” cafe in Yarraville is quickly becoming the “don’t go to” cafe. Zerin was so very friendly, the service was always amazing & the staff efficient & friendly. We...
