RAPT Korean Chicken & Burger — Restaurant in Melbourne

This was our first time went to the restaurant. Surely we were quite surprised that we can found a hidden gem where the are surrounded with housing complex. We were abis skeptical but by the look at the google review we gave it a go! The owner was so friendly we were greeted and welcomed to check on the menu. We ordered Teoppokki ($18) , Japchae ($18) and Korean fried chicken($21) with spicy chilli dipping sauce ($2). The food was serve in a generous portion. Tastewise for the teoppoki and japchae there are room for improvement i guess, but overall its good! They didnt have side dish tho. But i guess i dont really fussy about that since the food taste great! The winner was the fried chicken! I mean there is no need to travel far to the city from our place to find decent korean fried chicken. The chicken were juicy, crunchy and yummy of course! Second time I have been here tonight, last week with my partner and tonight with the family of 7! Have been blown away each and every time ! We have eaten koren food many times from around different restaurants and areas in and around Melbourne! One of the best by far ! The young lady front of house is so lovely . Giving take away containers to take home left over food at no extra cost , and when we asked for containers for our left over sauces , she gave us just new containers of the sauces - at no charge . The fried boneless chicken is by far the best we have had . It’s not oily at all and is super super crunchy ! RAPT Korean raises the bar for all other Korean restaurants. I first stumbled upon RAPT on door-dash; i promptly sent in an order and to a pleasant surprise I was blown away. From the most simple things; sturdy take out boxes and a free drink - I knew the standard of which the food had to reach. I can safely say it exceeded all expectations. I called up my friends and a couple days later we went to dine in. We ordered 3 mains and every single dish was delicious; the sauce and extra cheese in the tteokbokki was amazing and the remaining dishes (both chicken) were incredibly crispy and crunchy but maintained a juicy flavour.
