Red Rooster Gladstone Park — Restaurant in Melbourne

Ordered through the website and recommended that I choose Gladstone Park as the store. Order not delivered, no confirmation details. Called the store and the 'manager' told me to just google the number of Uber or Doordash without even telling me the number to call. At least if you want to shift responsibility, provide a number to call, not "you can google the number". I had been very polite at the beginning but obviously i was pissed when I asked "you cant seriously be telling customers to google the number themselves" and she hung up.

This is a big RED FLAG by Red Rooster if you don't even have instructions for stores to be able to respond appropriately to customers. A simple "sorry we can't help you but you can call this number instead" would be useful.

Returned last week to give it one more try and ordered fried chicken at the drive-thru. Got home to find a box of dry ribcages and one very dry wing. No drumstick, and no breast. Lesson learned, never again. Been going here for a while without issue, but lately, I've had a couple of bad experiences using the drive-through while the place is being renovated. I've been given wrong orders a couple of times, and most recently, I had to wait almost 10 minutes while my order was being prepared. After being told they had no chicken, had to change our order AND waited 20 minutes for 4 meals thinking that it would all be fresh (after waiting for so long) and all be in the bag! We did not check the bag in the drive thru as we thought after 20 minutes of waiting it surely would have all been there. We did not receive our 10 chicken cheesy nuggets, 2 mash and gravy’s + 1 normal gravy and a regular chips. Then after getting home and realising all of this we then drove back to realise they were closed (at 9pm) even though on their website it stated 11pm closure.
