Homer Spritzon
We're nuts about this one. Sailor jerry spiced rum, cointreau, house made orgeat almond syrup, served with angel in the room prosecco.
Buzzed Lightyear
Infinity never tasted this good! Hennessy, noble bootlegger amarena, citrus, honey syrup, topped with tonic.
Spill The Tea
Jameson infused with earl grey tea, house-made orgeat almond syrup, mixed with cloudy apple juice and citrus. Byo gossip.
Good Kid, M.a.a.d Litty
Vibe check, one two. Nodo blanco tequila, st germain elderflower liqueur, comet hibiscus & lemongrass syrup, guava nectar plus citrus.
Apocalypse Meow
This one's for our sour squad. Darling gin, stache house melon liqueur and citrus.

Coming here since 2006. So many wonderful moments, taking dates here, etc.

You guys are great. I'd love to give this five, but seems to have new management, made it louder than it used to be, less relaxing for me. My friend asked the bar lady why it was so unusually loud (almost like a nightclub) to which the feisty sprite replied: 'cos it's a bar'. Should Douglas Adams amend Hitchhiker's '42' to 'cos it's a bar', also, since this fundumental law explains so much, that we cannot otherwise fathom? I do not see how or why you have tried to tinker with perfection?

Also why put the DJ in the middle like that? It turns a hangout into a music bar. He was better off in the corner! Also, a few weeks ago, I heard DJ music which was not up to the usual section 8 standard, which appalled me, since you are always so awesome! It was repetitive and boring. You guys used to be non stop funky! THE BEST!

Today there was sand on the floor. Huh? Really sorry to be picky, but for the above reasons, you lose one star from an otherwise utterly lawless record of entertainment...

The tall gangly white guy with glasses who was wearing a beanie working on Wednesday june 12 needs to either work on his customer service skills or just stay home. I hardly ever write google reviews but this guy made me feel horrible. After ignoring me waiting at the bar another staff memeber then alerted him that I was waiting when he turned around he rolled his eyes and they both burst out laughing as if it was the biggest invonvenience that (god forbid) there would be someone trying to order a drink at a bar. This made me extremely uncomfortable after I ordered the drink the guy proceeded to do everything with the biggest attitude. Again I’m not one to write reviews but I was made to feel so uncomfortable we left straight after. The laughing? The eye rolling? The rude attitude when I was just ordering a drink? Ridiculous! I understand everyone has bad days but just do your job or stay home. You are a bartender so don’t make people feel weird for wanting a...

Staff are rude and obnoxious. Went earlier in the day and bar staff were great, security and dj were good. Walked past at 11:30, asked to take a quick picture of the drinks menu as the drink I got earlier was nice. The staff w9ere all sat down and a man in a checked shirt repeatedly shouted no at me, without listening to what I was asking. When I politely explained I didn't want to buy a drink I just wanted a photo of the menu, he was extremely rude. Based on this experience alone, despite the good vibe of the bar, I would not return as I was treated horribly. Given that the reason I returned was to specifically tell other people about the nice cocktail I got there and spread good word about the bar, but now I will be doing the opposite and warning people off. I can't understand why you wouldn't want to look after someone who would be a...

I came across this great bar a couple of years ago and since then every time I visit Melbourne I make sure I pay a visit. The bar is situated in a disused open air car park. The bar itself is a shipping container and all the seats are packing crates. They have put a roof over the top, so you are away from the elements. In winter they have heaters and in summer there are big fans and misters for those really hot days, it makes it a very enjoyable place, with a great vibe, to enjoy a beverage. It has a great range of drinks and a small menu if you fancy a bite to eat. One of the stand outs of this bar is its toilets; they too are situated in a shipping container, but the walls are absolutely covered in images. You could easily get distracted and spend hours in the loo! The staff are fantastic and friendly. It is a must visit bar!

The line is incredibly long. Expect to wait an hour if you go after 10pm. Also they cutoff their custom cocktails 40-50 minutes and sometimes an hour before they close at 1am, so basically when they choose, because of some rule they couldn't explain thoroughly to me. It's weird cause they still offer hard liquor drinks at 11AUD per pour. Doesn't make sense. The vibe here is decent. I'd say this spot is best for a day party. They have different DJs and an accepting, open vibe where everyone is accepted no matter race, religion, or orientation. Everyone just wants to listen to good music or makeout haha Note: They won't let people in 30min before close and the bar is petty much open air with a rooftop so it's subject to the weather.

What a great wee joint! Picked S8 as it was in China Town, so a chance to get into the CBD for a change ..., and even though it was a Monday it had a great vibe with a diverse range of punters. Yeah, I might have been in the minority with a collared, floral shirt, as black bedraggled chic seems to be the go here, but I gotta say, it was all good fun! In fact the DJ was scratching the decks with some old hip hop and we also had the chance to shoot hoops in the alley next to S8. OH, and the cocktails, namely Good Kid, MAAD Litty (with garnish- the waitresses didn't let me leave without it), wasn't too shabby! Bloody good craic, I say! Zip, thought he was going out, but stoopid restaurant (after S8) was not allowing.. boooo
