The RICEWORK SHOP is a total waste in concept and a dodgy place in marketing whatever written on the display we need to buy and no changes or anything...
Ordered a bowl costing $10.50 Tofu Curry rice
Horrible cliched Madras Curry flavor with loads of rice not blended half boiled Tofu which does not even blend with the gravy and there are no vegetables for the price..Tasted like soup stuffed with rice... SLAVERY meal.
Its not even worth enough to ask for a compensation that's my days budgeted meal since I do not cook in home .. Had trust and expectation.. Just pay and eat what ever give it to you.. All diners run by amateur and one sided dumb/rude/sarcastic staff members very unprofessional.
So company policy is selling out for food -They do not have compensation (They do not know different styles of consumers in the multicultural Melbourne)in their policy just sell it like reheat junk food already prepared and they do not know a definition of hospitality...
Total rip off...Will not visit again to any RICE WORKSHOP outlets..
THis reply sent to me after the feedback what they sent me in FB-

My meal was already more than $10 which was entitled to use credit card but she did not bother to explain this to me at all, just answered "..you need to spend $10 then only you can use credit card", so I didn't know my meal was already eligible to pay by credit card & thought it was less than $10 so that's why I asked to combine and paid together with another dish. She was obviously very unhappy and extremely frustrated with my request, just kept staring at me while I was trying to pay. Again I asked what type of credit card can we use, she said:"Any!" But when I took out AMEX, she then said:"No, you can't use it." Then I reminded her that:".. but just now you answered any credit card." She then stared at me even longer and looked very...
