terrible customer service, stay away from it! Ordered a Curry beef brisket rice (in Cantonese), the man then came back using English asking "you want beef or brisket?", I said "brisket", then he asked "brisket only?", then I said yes.
After that, he came back with a beef brisket rice without curry. The man asked me if I can use chill sauce instead, I told him it's not the thing i wanted. After that he shouted at me, blaming me that I am the one who order brisket and It was my fault and I was the one to be blamed. Then the female staff came over, shouted and blamed at me as well, they then went to the kitchen to complain to the chef, who join them continued blaming me. So, all three staffs keep nagging and complaining!! the man then came back with the curry beef brisket rice, with a condescending tone, saying this curry rice is free for you, but the beef brisket rice he thought was the result of my mistake needed to be paid.
while I understand that there is miscommunication, but their attitude was reactive, rude, and abusive! All three people just think they were right and keep blaming a customer!
I regularly went to this restaurant just because we shared the same language (cantonese), but i was really disappointed by the way they treat me! I absolutely don't come back again! not worth it!. especially this man who did not admit his mistake but just blaming on other. I only see this male staff this year, clearly he was new and speak very...
Read moreI find some food is quite overpriced. Few weeks ago I got bean curd with vegetables from chef's special menu for $27+ and the only vegetable there was peas. It was quite misleading name of the dish. Could name it bean curd with peas. But portion of bean curd itself was decent so was still quite happy. Today I got mushroom with vegetables for $27. The portion is small (bean curd was overflowing in a large container , this one is 3/4 in small container). The mushroom is the one you get from Asian groceries in a package - dried one. They put about 7-8 pieces which is around $3 worth at most. And again only one vegetable. Chinese broccoli this time but only a few sticks. Another $3 worth at most. So selling $6 dish for $27 making 450% margin and the dish not required much cooking simple stir fry. Maybe their cheap dishes have better value but I do not recommend ordering anything with "vegetables" in it. You won't get much of those and will be very...
Read moreThere are a variety of affordable items to suit most appetites and budgets whether it's a soup, appetiser, lunch style meal or larger more formal dinner dishes. I had the wonton soup which was just nice for a small late night supper. The wonton soup was very tasty - both the wontons and soup. The meals and menu are compatible with the university population in the area. So if you have realistic expectations you'll be fine. Square tables in light timber veneer colours were set for 2 on the ground floor and first floor of this small-ish restaurant. You can join the tables for a larger group. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Toilets are on...
