Speedy's Pizza & Pasta — Restaurant in Melbourne

DISGRACE!!! I ordered a pizza Large size gourmet. Gourmet = Joke. Bad: Pizza is soggy,water dripping out the pizza. I had a hair of some sorts in the pizza. I Did not even mention that to the owner as my mood was already fu**. The chicken is bland to next level. Pizza comes out of oven cooked but water residue has to be removed by the guy by tilting the pizza and do a balancing act. You can't figure out taste of cheese or chicken. When I suggested about the watery residue and basic concern the reply from the Big guy (Owner) was that we make soggy pizzas if you wanted dry pizza tell us we will make it for you. It doesn't cost us anything to make it dry. The big guy (Owner) doesn't know what cross contamination kitchen can create. All the uncooked ingredients getting mixed up at the bench or underpass. I had paid $14.50 so I attempted to go ahead and try it. It was my mistake looking forward to a stomach upset the next morning for sure. 0/10. A dessert pizza should have fresh fruit ontop uncooked. They bake their dessert pizza with FROZEN strawberries. This pizza absolutely stunk, like a funky acidic rotten smell. As soon as I hopped into the car, my whole family could smell something rotten. Thinking with the slightest possible chance this pizza might taste better than it looks? Nope it tasted worse. To top it off I called & complained & the manager said it was just a sensory issue because I didn’t like the soft strawberries. Apologised that they may have been in a rush & didn’t get to strain the “syrup” off the pizza. The syrup they’re referring too isn’t syrup, it’s the defrosted water from the frozen strawberries 🤮 Pizza base was soo soggy & it tasted horrible. Just gross, was offered a replacement but I declined. I probably would’ve just received the same frozen strawberry pizza without the liquid if I accepted. They should put out a disclaimer that they cook their dessert pizzas with frozen berries. LOL can’t believe they think this pizza is actually popular, gross. I've been coming to this place for years since I was younger and tonight is the night I was truly disappointed, I get home from surgery just wanting the old and faithful pizza place, I ordered a main pasta a large margarita and doughnuts which cost me $51, i was truly dissapoionted with the pizza, there was absolutely no cheese and the slightest bit of sauce it was mainly all crust and I've baught this pizza many times in the past, they are usually great with their toppings, the lady was rude and kept insisting that is how the pizza is made and acting like I've never ordered there before, definitely poor customer service tonight I expected better customers service to a long term customer i even offered to give this pizza back to get a fresh one but she pretty much said tuff luck u get what ur given it was definitely a waste of money tonight...
