Starbucks The Glen — Restaurant in Melbourne

I have never written a review before but I was just so disappointed of how I had to wait 20 minutes for my mango shake which only took 20 seconds to make. These two indian ladies who worked today around 2:30, was just talking to each other and they had took 5 minutes for each drink to be made. To inform, there were at least 10-15 people waiting. When this pregnant lady came, she was able to make drinks faster. While this pregnant lady made five drinks, the lady I am complaining, she only made one drink. I was also in a rush since I had to take train to my work, I even came 30 minutes earlier and still managed to miss my train. They were taking too much time talking to each other laughing, while 15 other customers were waiting for their drink and everyone looked stressed looking at the time. And when the drinks arrived each time, she slide the drinks too far that I thought it was going to fall. Please Starbucks, train your staff...

As The Glen weekend regular customer and a must coffee drinker, I am so happy with the availability of many coffee shops and couldn't be happier that Starbuck is finally open its store here. I find it is good to have an American flavour coffee as an alternative, and many of us know Starbuck flavor can't be replicated by any other brands.

I usually order the regular latte or long black as I am not a fan of flavoured and sweet coffee. However, the other day I ordered The Salted Caramel Macchiato and Pistachio White Coffee, and all of which were amazing. The coffee here were not as milky as in other branches which is great, and they were not too sweet.

There were't many seats here and more suitable for a to go coffee. However, who knows in the near future if there are more seating area to enjoy the coffee whilst...

Pretty disappointed as other Starbucks I’ve visited have been quite good. The girl at the register did a great job. The two girls preparing all the orders however seemed to be dawdling / working super slow / confused. There was a massive backlog of orders and we waited a while. Customers were visibly getting impatient. Then a girl with her hair in a braid came to the rescue and worked very quickly to help the others get some orders done. She was very good, was ensuring to clean her station while doing her job and she helped a LOT. Unfortunately one of our drinks (salted caramel cold brew) tasted very watered down and fruity which is quite different from the ones we’ve tasted before.
