Clean & cosy, doggies area out back in a sunny and tidy courtyard, Calamari was tasty - the girls say a little small, but tasty. My chicken burger pretty tasty too - dang it - I enjoyed it and the fries Menu was a pleasant surprise for me with lots of Gluten Free options - lots 😃 . . I’m Coeliac GF and use to eggs or avo so I had a ripper choice - what a delight ! Taste & health diff GF to non- GF = like Nil in most offerings - but if I eat the wrong ‘stuff’ it ain’t nice on the ‘ol tummy…

Chilly day today, after a beaut coffee we had wander down the quite main street and cracked out the Salvo’s (bought a fluffy hat) then we pop down to the wharf and were greeted by a couple of Pelicans and a very chilly 11 degrees. Top arvo ! ...

Absolutely love this cafe! The staff here are always so friendly and welcoming, making every visit a pleasant experience. The service is quick, and you can tell they genuinely care about their customers. The food is fantastic, fresh, well prepared and packed with flavour. My husband and I are obsessed with their smashed avocado, it’s always perfectly seasoned, with the right balance of creamy avocado, crunchy toast, and delicious toppings. It’s one of the best we’ve had anywhere! And the coffee? Amazing. Smooth, rich, and made just right every time. Whether it’s a morning pick-me-up or a relaxing afternoon coffee, they never disappoint. This place has become one of our go to spots in Hastings, and we’ll definitely keep coming back....

I had heard good things about Steaming Mugs, and today was the day to check it out.

It made it better that I had a friend joined me for breakfast, and therefore I was able to try two different menu options 😁.

I had the mushroom bruschetta, which was delicious. The mushrooms weren't too strong and the mustard smeared around the plate had a beautiful light flavour.

My guest had the Ricotta Hotcakes. It was something different, but a pleasant sweet change to a savoury hot breakfast. I recommend this if you feel like a tasty different type of breakfast.

The coffee was also great, and the service friendly and attentive....and super fast to help with the clean up when I spilt half...
