Basil Blue — Restaurant in Melbourne

Came and got takeaway from basil blue.

We got the $59 dinner set b, which consisted of 10 spring rolls, 1 large rice, 2 pieces of roti, a tub of peanut sauce, basil chilli beef and kari gai.

The roti was flakey and buttery just how I like it and the peanut sauce that came with it was so yummy I couldn’t get enough of it. Everything was portioned well and it was very delicious. I would recommend getting the dinner set as it’s very good value for money as well it being tasty and filling.

Pretty disappointed, we got a take away order and I’d ordered Sweet & Sour Chicken. Once getting home I saw that my order was a half full tub of fried little pieces of chicken along with a couple of pieces of capsicum and onion. There was the smallest dribble of sauce in the bottom of the container. There was no pineapple or other veggies as stated on the menu. Very disappointed.
