Subway — Restaurant in Melbourne

I had a truly disappointing experience at this Subway location and feel compelled to share my concerns. From the moment I walked in, it was clear the restaurant was not adhering to basic hygiene standards, which immediately raised red flags. First and foremost, the staff's personal hygiene was concerning, and the quality of the food was subpar. The bread I was served was stale, as if it had been sitting out for hours, and the vegetables were wilted. It seems like the ingredients were old and had been left out for too long. Not only was the sandwich lacking in flavor, but the texture was also unpleasant. This is especially disappointing as Subway has always my go-to for a quick, relatively healthy meal, but this location has truly let me down. I won't be returning, and I sincerely hope the management takes these issues seriously as proper hygiene and fresh ingredients are non-negotiable in this industry. Was a good feed, ordered double meat on a chicken sub, thoroughly regretted it as it was a lot. Could not handle that much. I ate it all but felt very full afterwards. Felt full for quite a bit and decided to take my dogs for a walk. Didn’t make it better. Googled how to not feel full but got some kind of diet page which talked about some very controversial ways to lose weigh (not that I need it) so I left it and decided to watch the midday movie on Chanel 7 which made me feel a lot better, perhaps because I let all that protein sit, not too sure. Later I was fine and now realise that it was a good meal and perhaps I have some sort of intolerance to some certain foods, maybe even bread!! Very poor customer service and no patience to understand customer ask I strongly recommend not to visit this place even if you are hungry, better to eat else where to experience at least happy face when serving a customer. There are couple of staff members in the store this evening at 8pm, one severed me a sub and other staff said they have closed for dine in when the store supposed to be closed at 9pm.
