Sushi 8 @ Station — Restaurant in Melbourne

I had a delightful experience at Sushi 8. It was around 3pm when we arrived, a time when most restaurants are usually closed. However, we were pleasantly surprised to find Sushi 8 open and welcoming.

The food was fresh and delicious. It was very fresh, a critical factor when it comes to sushi. My kids absolutely loved it, which is always a good sign!

What made the experience even more memorable was our interaction with the owners. They were friendly, talkative, and seemed genuinely interested in ensuring that their customers were satisfied. It’s always nice to see business owners who are passionate about what they do, and this clearly showed in the quality of the food and service.

Been here a couple times now. the staff have always been very friendly and helpful. They offer a great variety of foods, as well as drinks and Japanese snacks.

Most recent visit was for dinner and tried the chicken katsu curry don and the 'sampler for one' entrée option. Very generous serving size for the curry katsu, and very tasty. The different entrées were all very nice as well. I was happily surprised with the fried squid and crab claw, I'd never tried those anywhere and they were tasty.

EUREKA! I found 1! A personable, fresh upbeat and happy to be open, Sushi Cafe....right where you wouldn't expect it! Tucked in a side street off Springvale road in Nunawading is the freshest (made to order) ha d rolls I've ever had....and I've had plenty... From the huge smiles and interactions on entering to the 3 min wait for fresh made hand rolls... Sushi 8 @ Station is my new "Go to" for all things Japanese...including a huge drink and snack choice (Sparkling Fuji Apple is a winner) We will be back again and again and again... G O H E R E F O...
