Thai Food Near Me — Restaurant in Melbourne

Absolutely unacceptable experience at this Thai restaurant. We were only given water and food — with no forks, spoons, or basic cutlery ,we had to go and pickup ourselves.When we tried to place our order, we were told to go to the front counter. But what shocked us the most was seeing other tables, particularly white-skinned customers, being treated completely differently — they were served at their tables with full attention.

This is blatant racial discrimination, and it is deeply offensive. No one should be treated as less than others based on their skin color. We felt disrespected, unwelcome, and humiliated. I strongly urge others to think twice before supporting a place that clearly doesn't treat all customers equally.

Delicious food. We dined quite late on a Sunday night. Most other places on the street were closing. The dining room was full with happy people. Great vibe. The food smelled amazing and lived up to its promise. The service was courteous and quick, notable particularly as we were the last to arrive and leave. Reasonably priced and good sized portions. The two of us ordered Khao Gai and Tom Yum noodles. For the price, I expected smaller serves so also ordered a Larb to share. Luckily my companion was my giant 16yo son. Whilst looking for somewhere to eat in South Melbourne, and get out of the rain, we were very lucky to come across this gem of a restaurant in "Thai Food Near Me". Welcoming, friendly and clean. And the food did not disappoint. We had the $18 lunchtime deal and it was great value and delicious. The food was super tasty and so fresh. And seeing it being cooked at the front of the shop added to the experience. I did make a mistake in getting a Coke which diminished the flavour of the meal.
