Even though their plants look healthy and lush, they are not. I had two very disappointing experiences with their plants. I bought two fiddle leaf plants on sale that were most certainly infested with root rot already. The first plant lasted about a month, and we thought the root rot was our fault because we might have overwatered them. We followed the staff's advice to drench them once a week and let them drain, which is contradictory to advice from numerous other sources on the net who recommended a less drastic watering approach. The second plant displayed signs of root rot within three (!) days after purchase with several leaves dropping and the characteristic brown spots spreading across the plants like wildfire! This time, we were extra careful with watering, though, based on our previous experience. The plant was dry when purchased, and we only gave it a little water. Four (!) days later, half of the leaves are covered with brown spots and will die and drop soon. See photos. (Fourth picture shows plant right after purchase, the others four days later.) Long story short, root rot doesn't develop that quickly. And I usually have a green thumb. I believe they put plants on sale that are going to die soon anyway. It's quite disappointing to witness a new plant die, after the effort of buying it, getting it home, and looking forward to a new green addition for your home. I would recommend not buying plants on sale there. It's a waste of money and effort. They put plants on sale that are otherwise unsellable. Other plants we bought at normal prices are just fine. Hence, I gave them two and not just one point.

Melbourne Indoor Plants is a gem! The variety of indoor plants is amazing, and the staff are both knowledgeable and friendly. They helped me choose the perfect plants for my space and provided excellent care tips. My plants are thriving, and I couldn't be happier. Highly recommend for all plant lovers!

Melbourne Indoor Plants is not just the best place for extremely good value plants, it also has a great variety of plants. Their service is fantastic and, if you're lucky, you can make it there on a day when they have a fantastic special like today where I got a gigantic Fiddle Leaf Fig for only $50! 😱

Today, we visited the Melbourne Indoor Plant Sale in Preston. While the sale itself was impressive, the customer service left much to be desired. After purchasing two large plants, we realized they wouldn’t fit in our car due to its size. We requested to temporarily leave the plants at the venue and return later to collect them after making space in the car. Despite having already paid for the plants, we were told this wasn’t possible because the plants were on sale—a justification that felt inadequate.

Additionally, the staff appeared unmotivated and were not particularly helpful in answering our questions. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, and we left feeling frustrated and...
