Thai on Lenox is a reliable local spot for tasty, comforting Thai food, and it always delivers on flavour. The menu covers all the classics you’d expect, with dishes that are generous, fresh, and satisfying. It’s the kind of place that works well for a casual dine-in meal or a quick takeaway when you’re craving something hearty and full of spice.

The curries are excellent — rich, aromatic, and full of depth. The green curry in particular has a great balance of heat and creaminess, and the massaman is warming and comforting. Stir-fries and noodle dishes like pad Thai are also consistent favourites, with well-cooked noodles, crisp vegetables, and just the right amount of seasoning.

Portions are generous, and prices are fair, making it good value overall. Service is generally quick and friendly, and food usually comes out without much of a wait, even on busy nights.

The restaurant itself is casual and welcoming, though it’s more functional than atmospheric — a solid place for a relaxed meal rather than a special occasion. Takeaway is particularly strong here, with food that travels well and still tastes fresh when you get home.

The reason for four stars instead of five comes down to the overall experience. While the food is reliably good, it doesn’t always reach the heights of some of Melbourne’s more polished Thai restaurants, and the space can feel a little cramped at peak times. That said, for a local go-to, it’s a very dependable option.

Thai on Lenox is a great choice if you’re after tasty, classic Thai dishes at reasonable prices. It’s not fine dining, but it doesn’t pretend to be — and for what it offers, it does...

Thai on Lennox is an absolute neighbourhood gem – the kind of place you stumble across once and then keep coming back to. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, with a cosy, welcoming vibe that makes it just as good for a casual mid-week dinner as it is for a night out with friends.

The food is outstanding. Every dish we ordered was packed with authentic flavour and clearly made with fresh ingredients. The pad thai was spot on – perfectly balanced between sweet, tangy, and savoury – while the green curry had that rich, aromatic depth you only get when it’s made properly. The stir-fries were generous, full of crisp vegetables, and cooked with care. Portion sizes are excellent too – you definitely don’t leave hungry.

Service was another highlight. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely made us feel looked after, without ever being overbearing. Even when the restaurant was busy, food came out quickly and everything arrived hot and fresh.

Prices are really reasonable for the quality you get, and it feels like great value compared to a lot of other Richmond spots. It’s the kind of place you can keep as a regular go-to without breaking the bank.

Thai on Lennox isn’t trying to be flashy – it’s just consistently delicious, great value, and full of heart. A proper...

After having home to the Australian Open, I was looking for a nice place to have dinner, something that would be both tasty and filling ideally I noticed this one on the map, and I'm glad I had thought to do so, because as it's away from the main street, even though being just meters away, I wouldn't have found it And it's actually a restaurant that should be better known Starters, soups, salads, wok stir fry, curries, rice and noodles stir fried... Lots of food options Beer, red wine, white wine, cocktails.. lots of alcoholic drinks (on top of soft drinks, juices and hot tea) I personally went for grilled chicken satay skewers as a starter, not spicy at all, and delicious As a main I had prawn with tamarind & siracha sauce and vegetables as a (sweet and sour). Just slightly spicy, even if you're not crazy about spicy food you'll enjoy. And amount of shrimps was generous To go with it I had young coconut rice, lovely flavor And to drink I had pink guava, always a sure bet On top of that all the staff is friendly, and well efficient (I could even notice the waiter running to serve even faster a customer, now that's dedication) Nice music And atmosphere in...

If you're not careful you could miss this little gem tucked away on Lennox Street Cremorne, near the corner of Swan. It's a small place with THE most delicious, fresh Thai food. The dishes are packed with veggies unlike many Thai restaurants, they have $10 wine specials on the board and it's our favourite local. Often I have chicken with cashews, this week I tried the chicken larb salad with an extra serve of brocolli (only charged $3), a real winner. It's also warm inside and the service is great.

This Thai restaurant is fantastic! The food is absolutely delicious, with a wide variety of dishes to choose from. Despite having only a few tables, the cozy atmosphere adds to the charm. The service is excellent; the staff are friendly and attentive. I highly recommend trying the Pad Thai and Green Curry, both bursting with authentic flavors. The mango sticky rice is a perfect dessert to end your meal. If you’re looking for a great Thai dining experience, this place is a must-visit!
