My third time at Thai Saffron was definitely the charm. I hadn't been in almost 10 years, and I'm sorry I didn't come back sooner. The food was beautiful and everything overall was good.

If you're getting a starter, beware that their portions are far smaller than any other Thai restaurant I've been to. The Chicken Curry Puffs only come in twos, where everywhere else comes in fours, but I guess you can then still fit in your main meal. I must say, I couldn't taste the chicken in the puffs, but either way, the flavour was lovely. The fried rice was beautiful, fresh, moist (sorry, I can't think of another adjective to say "not dry") and tasty. Onion lovers will rejoice with the massive chunks found in the dish, but I could have done with a bit more refined chopping (for my taste).

Overall, Thai Saffron is a great local gem if you want a nice casual meal out. You can hear yourselves even over other tables, and the service and food were great. Parking CAN be challenging at times, but I wouldn't let that deter you from giving this a go. It's definitely...

Visited Thai Saffron last night, ordered vegetarian pad Thai and vegetarian red curry. Pad Thai was okay, nothing to rave about, red curry was not okay. If you are going to advertise something as vegetarian, it cannot have fish sauce in it! I knew it had fish sauce in it as soon as it came to the table, so I asked the waitress to check with the chef. She came back and informed me that it did. I politely informed her that vegetarians do not eat fish, and that if you are going to advertise something on the menu as vegetarian, it needs to be edible for vegetarians! I then informed her that I was unable to eat the curry.

Was disappointed with their response to their mistake, there was no offer to remake and when bill was paid at the end of the night, the curry was still charged at full price. Was also disappointed with the service. We went through our water quite quickly and were not given another bottle for the remainder of the dinner. Will not be back, do not recommend going if you...

Last night, 11/6/2016, we had dinner at Thai Saffron. It was not our first time there. we had been there many times but last night was completely different. I am not sure if the management has changed or not but we were NOT happy with the service, food. Their food has shrinked to min dishes. Their rice dish has become so small that itis not enough for a child let alone for an adult. Their curries lack vegetable and does not comply with what they explain in their menu. The food was served 5 mins after with had our drinks and they did not let us to enjoy our drink. I guess they wanted us to eat as quicky as possible and leave early for the next customers. Their Lemon Lime Bitter drink was like a fanta with a slice of lemon in it. We were very disappointed and wont dine there anymore. Sorry Brighton Thai Saffron,...

We were looking for a Thai restaurant in Brighton that could accomodate a large group and we were delighted to happen upon Thai Saffron which gave us their upstairs floor private area. One thing to note the access is really poor, pretty much the narrowest staircase I’ve ever seen and the service isn’t as attentive as if you were on the ground floor but there is a bell to ring and the food was so fantastic we would endure those stairs again! Loved my pad Thai and the peanut sauce with roti was so delicious I ordered a second one. To have so many diners so thoroughly enjoy their meal is an impressive feat and we will be back. Conveniently located literally a one minute walk from the station also so we were able to step off the train from the football and be transported straight to yum town

The food is good but the service is terrible. Wait for 40min for to pick up the food got there and wait another 20 min. No apologies! Got home to find the sauce that said it had vegetables but ended up with a onion soup 🤣.
