Interesting decor... most i can't post pictures of because of t&c. It's very... different to say the least. Bar staff are excellent, very friendly and professional. I ordered some "chicken bites", southern fried buttermilk chicken with spicy mayo. The spice from the mayo apparently all found it's way into the chicken bites... they were hot! Awesomely spicy and delicious. Would have been a little better paired with a cooler mayo, but still an excellent accompaniment to a pot of beer. The decision to make a giant mirror into a urinal in the men's bathroom is slightly questionable, but doesn't exceed the questionable architectural decisions I've seen in some other pubs. Clientele were a mixed lot, the place seems popular with a variety of crowds. Of all the venues in the cbd it easily rates in the top half. Free wifi and free water makes it obvious that the bottom end is placing customer service and comfort above the bottom line.. Table tennis table, pinnies and board games gives the venue a very sociable feel. Smoking area out the front, no food there (as per smoking regulations) but drinks can be taken out (during normal service at least). Happy hour at the moment is mon-fri 4-7pm. $15 jugs and $1 sriracha wings makes this a great option for after work drinks.

My favourite pub in Melbourne 🍻 It ain’t posh, but its got great music, fun staff, rock vibes, big booths and plenty of weird and wonderful stuff on the walls. It’s L.A meets Australia - 90’s grungy booths and neon lights but full of energy. Pints of Monteith’s cider on tap for $12 and plenty of greasy American diner goodies on the menu. The staff make the place. Great vibes.

A Parmi with Mac and cheese on it. I can’t think of a more beautiful combo, and it was executed perfectly. Although I did leave looking like I was 8 months pregnant with my food baby. The cocktail jugs were also amazing, the dark and stormy was a favourite at out table. On top of that the staff and decor/vibe of the place was great! We’ll definitely be going back!

Last night, Friday the 24th of November, one of the bartenders, a tall young guy with short, blonde hair, who works at the bar near the kitchen alongside a woman with long, dark hair, treats foreign students, who make up 80% of the pub's customers, in a disrespectful manner. He addressed a group of 5 people rudely and aggressively, arrogantly telling them to leave an area of the bar. It's understandable that his rude reaction might have been due to them blocking the kitchen's access, but what's not understandable is his arrogance and mistreatment from the beginning. There was no need for such impolite language. It's evident that the staff at this place don't enjoy their job and have a disdain for foreign students, resulting in a negative experience at the...

I just had my birthday planned at Anyway on 20th of August, yesterday. So I was there before 11 waiting in the line with all my mates to get in . When we got the the front of the line at the entrance the bouncer at the front just pushed me and said "oi where's your I'd " witch was extremely rude , and to which I said "relax dude I'm taking it out" . I was not drunk at all and was not even being weird , just wanted to have a good night with my mates . And he didn't let me and my all mates in. Now look,I do go to clubs often and do understand it's all bouncers duty to make sure the night goes smoothly. But this was nightmare. Thanks Anyway for spoiling my birthday. Will make sure never come back...
