This is a review of a few parts:
Food: Great food, affordable prices. Fried chicken (get the spicy one) is a crowd favorite, but i'm yet to have a poor quality meal there over man years.
Service: They may initially come across a bit cold - however they're extremely friendly & polite. There's a minimum eftpos of $15 but no surcharge.
Drinks: Spicy Korea is a restaurant but the hidden gem here is that after 4pm there's $5 bottled beers. You'll generally find the occasional swarm of people there after 4 on the way to the Spencer Street train station. Discount Beers include: Fat Yak, Asahi, Kiren, Pure Blonde, Hoegaarden etc etc.
Venue: This is what takes it down a notch. Venue is not great. Its a bit crowded inside, the bathroom and hallway to bathroom isn't the cleanest as it is a direct feed into kitchen. Occasionally it has a really loud exhaust fan which is distracting.
Over all a great place for a few cheap drinks on a Friday afternoon or a...

My husband and I are fan of the korean cuisine (we are Indian and haven't had anything spicy for 5days since we've been in Melbourne). The service was so quick, we got there at 730pm on a Monday, the staff were so friendly to not just us but all the patrons there. The food hit the spot. Amazing soul warming food. My husband had the chilli beef bulgogi and I the original fried chicken (as a light meal). Both were substantial in size and so flavourful. For a small eatery they had an extensive menu that would cater for all types of palates even those trying to dable into the korean cuisine. Would...

Quaint little place, with friendly service, food delivered in a timely fashion.
This was my first time to a Korean eatery but luckily my friend has high expertise on Korean food.
The friend chicken was outstanding - I can now see why it has great google reviews.
I had the chicken bulgogi which was well cooked and had a great taste.
My friend had the Kimchi Chiggae and Beef Bulgogi which they said was at a great standard.
The Bulgogi dishes come with black rice which was plentiful.
Overall a great place and as such, a good google review.
Plenty of seating inside or outside in a quiet part of Melbourne.
Cost for two came in...
