The star is for cleanliness!!! Sitting here now and the place is neat and tidy. The staff " appear " happy to be at work. Ordered a vanilla slice ( personal fav of mine ) as it looked fresh and creamy. Sat down at my clean table to enjoy my vanilla slice. Well the icing was there and so was the pastry however when a vanilla slice is cut into it shouldn't be the texture of tofu. It tasted old and had a hint of a sour milk taste in it. For $6.90 and at a prime location you'd expect fresh products. I live down in the suburbs and for a higher price I can get something that doesn't resemble tofu but I get a creamy custard filling with fresh pastry and soft icing. It's unfortunate because I expected so much more, such a shame but...

I would give 3.5/5. The service can be inconsistent, I got greeted by a blonde lady once and she was so lovely but later on got served by a brunette who did not seem happy to be there and to help :/ The flourless cakes are very nice and these are good cakes for a reasonable price compared to some other bakeries around this area. However, the cakes could have had more flavour and I found the sticky date quite dense and basic. Nonetheless, their packaging was perfect...

do not buy birthday cake from this outlet. i bought black forest cake for birthday. its was old and so hard. there was no date on cake box. so thing twice before buy cakes from this outlet. every customer deserve fresh cake with date of expiry. so again, please see freshness of the cake before you buy and also check...
