Dined at The Graham tonight (11/1/23). Mostly pleasant, staff friendly, atmosphere and set up ambient. Ordered eye fillet (medium) it was well underdone (refer pics). Partner ordered the porterhouse - he was very happy with his meal. To accompany we ordered the peach salad & roasted field mushrooms - they were tasty, rating the mushrooms as the hero. Regretfully the underdone steak fillet was not something I could eat. We also had two desserts tea /coffee. In addition, we also received chips with our meal and thought they were an accompaniment with the two steaks. Upon discussing the eye fillet with our lovely waitress she explained they were busy in the kitchen hence the error, & that they usually cook "medium" meat more underdone etc... they were attempted excuses nonetheless with pleasantries. At the end of our dining experience we queried the underdone steak and were advised the chef apologised. To compensate the Chips were removed and one dessert. Given we did not order any chips this was a weird gesture of apology - the dessert worth $16 as opposed to a $49 piece of rare meat which could not be eaten. Nonetheless we would recommend The Graham but advise patrons give strict instruction relating to their steak prep....

Nice place, ok food, over priced and poor service attitude. It was a birthday dinner for my wife as stated in the booking and I mentioned food allergies issues in booking too followed up by email. However upon arrival, Emma, the waitress who served us, had made our dinning experience very unpleasant. Not sure if it was because we are Asians or due to our extra queries on food allergies had caused her inconvenience? She had very obvious change of service attitude when serving us compare to the tables next to us, where she was friendly and attentive. We chosen the restaurant for our important occasions because of the good service and good food we used to be served by the restaurant before COVID-19 pandemic. May be there was changed of management or ownership, the place seems to be a pub place that doesn't welcome families who don't order alcohol drinks or asian faces. Very unfortunate that this will be a place our families will remove from our go list for restaurant. People will food allergies have to be careful. The waitress and cooks don't seem to well trained on food allergies. They seem to think that squid is not part of shellfish...

All of The staff that we met were so friendly and accomodating, the service was quick and Efficient, and the lady looking after us, Tania, kept coming back regularly to check every was going well on our table, clear afew things away , bring more drinks etc… such efficient service and always with a smile And the food, ahhh the food, I left till last as the four of us were non stop ahhhhimg at everything that we ordered. we tried lots of dishes and every single dish was absolutely delicious 🤤… we ordered Burrata and mixed platter for starrters. Oh my go the Burrata was to die for as was the mixed platter… it had dukha prawns asn they were just so yummy. I had a dozen oysters for main and they were so creamy and so fresh, and we ordered grain salad and cauliflower salad… both were too good… as we’re the truffle chips. My partner did have Very Happy birthday when his scotch fillet came out and he couldn’t stop smiling after each bite. . What a great night we all had and Thankyou to the team at Graham hotel for making my partners birthday so special and making our night and experience so good… we will be back very...

A neighbourhood gem of a place. Excellent menu, food is consistently good, service is attentive and interior decor is chic contemporary and very spacious- a mix of finishes consisting of light wood paneling, marble and exotic live plants dotted around. There’s formal and casual dining and both experiences were great :) I ordered the scampi linguine and my friend ordered the roast pigeon for mains- both were beautifully presented and delicious! The gin and tonics and Kilpatrick oysters for starters were average. I’ve tried the pie here seated casually by the bar a previous time and that was great- generous portion, meaty gravy filling. Every time I’m here I’ve had a lovely time and so have my friends. Do bear in mind, on a nice sunny day especially fridays and weekends this place is pact! Overall, I would highly recommend it :) Only thing is the inside dining at the booths would be more comfortable if the wooden benches were padded or provided with cushions .. sitting there for hours over drinks and dinner can be a bit uncomfortable.

Came for Father’s Day. Place was busy and seemed to manage with food coming out well. Service were all lovely but there was a lacking to detail. Missed details on the meals, sent wrong item out and the wagyu schnitzel was so thin and over cooked didn’t come with anything explained on menu. Food was all ok and nice but probably not worth the price tag for the missteps in the items that were not that great. Also need some more vegetarian options on menu than 2 mains would be nice. Zucchini flowers sauce needs to change, curry sauce doesn’t go. Saganaki was nice, wagyu schnitzel (don’t bother), scotch steak was good. Fish of the day with the Asian sauces and slaw needed more sauce and flavour, lots of bones but a nice fish. - truffle chips (cancelled them as they forgot and it came too late). Upstairs wasn’t as bright as downstairs, was good until aircon was blasted and it got super cold. It wasn’t terrible and enjoyed the day but wasn’t noteworthy for the price. 4 people no alcohol and it was $70 per head.
