Noisette in Port Melbourne truly stands out as a gem for anyone with a love for exceptional pastries and impeccable service. Located conveniently on Bay Street, this French-inspired bakery offers a delightful experience from the moment you step through the door. The service at Noisette is consistently excellent. The staff are not only friendly and welcoming but also incredibly efficient, ensuring a smooth and pleasant visit. Now, onto the stars of the show: the pastries and slices. Noisette's cabinet is a feast for the eyes, showcasing a stunning array of beautifully crafted treats. We were particularly impressed with two classics that were executed to perfection. The Dark Forest slice was an absolute triumph. It struck the ideal balance between rich, moist chocolate cake, perfectly tart cherries, and a delicate cream, without being overly sweet. Equally impressive was the Lemon Meringue Tart. The buttery, crisp shortbread base provided a wonderful foundation for the vibrant, zesty lemon curd. Topped with a perfectly torched, airy meringue that was just sweet enough to complement the lemon's tang, it was a refreshing and exquisitely balanced treat. If you are looking for a perfect pastry to accompany your coffee, Noisette Port Melbourne delivers an experience that is both delicious and delightful. It's a must-visit for any dessert enthusiast...
Read moreI was at Noisette, Port Melbourne today and had a weird service. It was not my first time there. I live locally so had been there many times and had ordered the exact same things. Like any other time, I ordered a box of 7 macarons. Usually I would tell them that I want all 5 flavours and for the 2 extras, they can just give me whatever flavours. Before I could finish my sentence, the girl serving me stopped me and told me I must pay first. I said, of course, I have to pay first. She told me that no. I must pay first before I can choose flavours as the macaron is on the other side. She asked me if I want anything else (in fact, she was explaining to me when she said anything else after I ordered the 7 box of macarons, her question was really asking me if want anything else - not about the macarons - sigh...). I said the rest of my orders and paid. Later she told her colleague, "pay by card". I explained to her colleague, I already paid. I felt the whole experience felt like she was constantly focused on asking me to pay first. It was all kind of weird and...
Read moreAbsolutely awful experience! I have had âenoughâ after 12 years ordering from this pathetic bakery. Specifically talking about the Prahran Market lot who are âcluelessâ with allergens. Sadly one of our family of 5 has a life threatening nut allergy and we are reminded that we are a âLeper Familyâ every time we try ordering anything thatâs not just plain bread. Even thatâs a challenge!! Lots of exasperated faces and wonderous looks from the incompetent staff mean we have to forego having just about anything at Noisette. 4 out of 5 of our family think your business is a disgrace because you discriminate against one of our flock. Get with the 21st century and educate your staff about ingredients⊠itâs not that hard. You will be left behind for sure as we gravitate towards those businesses who donât discriminate like you....
