Dulce Chico — Restaurant in Melbourne

My apologies for the horrible photo, but its the only one that I have of the empanadas. I go to this delicious bakery before all my therapy appointments and get a cheese or beef empanada. They are the most delicious empanadas ever. Today, I was at the emergency room and in the stall next to me was a woman who told the doctor that she owned a bakery in Essendon that sold empanadas with her husband. This made me think of Dulce Chico - since I don’t know any other latin american bakeries in Essendon - and I composed a haiku about the empanadas at Dulce Chico, but I wasn’t able to tell the woman before she left. It goes like this:

The empanada Filled with meat and beans and cheese Such a tasty snack

I hope that you recover from your injury very quickly. And please know that your empanadas bring me great joy, enough to compose (probably pretty bad)...

An amazing cafe! Does good coffee and pastries. Beef Empanadas were my favourite. Almond croissant pairs brilliantly with a coffee. Delicious Argentinian croissants that I got to try also. And all the abundant of tasty South American sweets.

Incredible service, it’s what you want in the hospitality industry. Super convenient location outside the railway station. All prices were affordable, especially in this economy. Chefs kiss 🫰
