I’ve been living in Abbotsford for nearly 5 years and for some strange reason never made it to the Park Hotel. We visited last night and safe to say it’s now our regular. We were greeted with a big smile and hello by bar staff as we walked in, made our way to the cozy beer garden where staff again, greeted us with a friendly g’day. We had a quick dinner, the food was great, the chicken Parma was one of the best I’ve had in ages and the wait staff made sure we were all good. On our way out, a small amount of cash had fallen out of my pocket onto the seat. One of the staff promptly chased us down and returned it. Honesty like that can be hard to find. If the venue manager reads this, give your Tuesday crew a pat on the back, they deserve it.

I really love this little pub tucked away in the back streets of Melbourne, great menu with quality food that will keep you coming back for more. Boutique tap beers are to be expected and change regularly to keep the 'hipsters' happy. The beer garden is a lush delight, with a mixture of covered and open spaces for when it's hot and then, thunderstorms 30 minutes later. Be sure to book a table if you'd like to sit in the beer garden because they book out quickly. Highly recommended Food: Wagyu rump with parsley butter, fine cabbage slaw and hasselback potatoes.

Kangaroo meat served. Beer Garden in a hotel. Beer average. Place cramp. If you like kangaroo meat, that's the place. When countries like South Korea serve dog meat, there's a big hue and cry. Poor cute kangaroos, killed and served on a platter. Wonder where they got the kangaroo meat? Road kill or slaughter house? Ordered a Wahgu steak, but looked like a Porterhouse. Maybe I was drunk from a pint of beer. Quiet neighborhood, too quiet to go alone as parking is along dark lonely road.

Came here on a Tuesday night for Tuesday Parma special for $20. Also had a pint of hazy IPA on tap for $8, that’s cheap in my opinion. I personally recommend coming here before 6pm as the tables get filled quickly. The Parma was outstanding, top 5 in Melbourne in my books. Excellent thickness to the chicken, the side coleslaw was fresh and crunchy as well as the chips. Will definitely add this to my weekly routine. Very accommodating even if you are coming here by yourself.

This has to be one of the top inner city pubs in Melbourne. There's a huge range on tap, including at least two different craft brewers, a cozy fire place for winter and the staff are super friendly. If that wasn't enough there's the food. Do yourself a favour and get down here after work on a Wednesday for happy hour and steak night. $18 for the best pub steak you've ever had. If you don't believe come and prove me wrong, I'm here every Wednesday!

We ate here after seeing they had Steak Night on a Wednesday. Busy, casual atmosphere with most tables full but they were able to seat us. As long as a table isn't reserved, it's yours. The waitress was friendly and prompt with our food. The steaks was overcooked and tough and dry and not very tasty. The chips and coleslaw was okay. Serving size was good for $22 price. Didn't try any other food on the menu. Overall, the experience was okay.
