Twisted Sista Cafe & Gelateria - Knox — Restaurant in Melbourne

My mother and I went to get coffee and cake yesterday. We both have medical conditions where it’s very important we don’t have Caffeine.

First the lady behind the counter couldn’t understand how to take a second order for the same table. I’m assuming who is the manager had to step in and fix it. She was very nice.

When we got our coffees both my mother and I suspected it may have been caffeine instead of decaf like we asked but weren’t sure.

We waited for our cakes for awhile until our support worker noticed they had been sitting on the bench for ages being ignored so she decided to just ask if they were ours and grab them.

The women at the counter apparently told her they would get taken to our table (they were ours) but our support worker told her she was going to take them to our table because they had already been sitting there a long time.

Turns out the Coffees were caffeinated as when my mother and I got home we both had reactions to it. Coffee causes me seizures. So I had a seizure. My mother had just had a medical procedure where it was very important for her heart not to have caffeine.

It ended up making her very sick.

I want to clarify I think (who I assume is the manger) did a good job but a lot of the other staff either didn’t know what they were doing or didn’t look at the...

I have been going here for about 6 years. Sometimes 2 to 3 times a week for a takeaway coffee after grocery shopping. Other times, with kids for milkshakes, breakfasts after sport etc. Ordered a half strength cuppacino to take away (regular milk, 2 sugars so nothing bizarre). When I tasted it, it was full strength and way too strong. So after paying $5.40 for a medium, I decided to take it back. Note: - In 6 years I have never returned a coffee. I was met with the rudest response from the female barista, and the lady I ordered from refused to suggest she had taken down the order wrong. Then they both ignored me until they realised I was going to stand there until there was some level of decent customer service. I wasn't rude, nor obnoxious. I simply said that my coffee was too stong and I was unable to drink it. So, I was made a new coffee which was then put on the bench with a level of snootiness and agression. Where is Jimmy the previous owner?? Is this new people that have taken over??? There are numerous other options for a coffee in Knox and a lot more competition now the new food courts area is open. After that response I am done with Twisted Sista. What a...

Really really poor. I made sure I gave them plenty of time for my 30th birthday cake. I went back every week for a month to make sure I gave them plenty of time. I ordered it 8 days before we needed it, confirmed it would be ready by Friday as the dinner was Friday night....and I even remember him saying it will be ready Friday or Saturday to which I said "No, I need it Friday night, can you do that? He said yes." When I went back to order it the lovely girl put it in the book with the correct date, what I wanted written on the cake etc, paid my deposit and checked it off my list. My dad calls friday morning to see when the delivery comes in and the young girl had to apologize to my dad because the cake had been ordered for Saturday!!!!! And whats worse is she was really nice and shes lucky my dad isn't an irate customer because the owner didn't even step in to deal with the situation! I love these cakes but I wont ever go there again. Its was absolutely unacceptable! The only reason we got a cake from there that night is we had no other choice! Lucky they had other whole...
