Surrounded by beautiful autumn trees, my partner and I were really excited to try this bustling cafe. I wish I had more nice things to say. Although the menu said "ask wait staff about dietary requirements", our questions were met with attitude and we were told that there were no changes to menu items. Our waiter was constantly distracted and didn't have time for our questions. My partner removed toast and egg from their meal and when the food came, the $25+ plate was half empty - half a sausage, a small piece of fatty bacon, 3 watery mushrooms, a small serve of chutney and smelly kale. The serving size was so small that we found it difficult to justify spending over $25 for the meal. On top of this, the coffee was burnt and bitter. We won't be returning and would not recommend to anyone with dietary requirements. Our impression of this cafe is that they aren't working in the best interests of the...

Went there on Grand Final Parade Friday Public Holiday. As it was packed, we were shown to a table outside with the promise we'd be moved in when there is a free table inside which is fine. Coffee arrive after the food which is fine too considering how busy it was. Food was great, went to pay. After we paid lady who is either the owner or manager at the cashier ask how is everything. I said food and coffee brilliant, wish they fulfill the promise of moving us in though. Instead of acknowledging the feedback which was given since she asked. She gone all defensive and said no table has emptied. To forget is fine, to lie is not. I pointed to her the 3 table that I can see and remember that has changed, let alone the rest. Needless to say, we'd...

Food was good but service was terrible and I would not want to go there ever again. Waitresses kept coming outside staring at us after we had finished our food to hurry us up to pay, they also kicked us out 5 mins after paying because there were other people waiting, even though the table across from us had been sitting there well before us and had no food or drinks with them just because they hadn’t paid yet. Absolutely atrocious service and they should be ashamed don’t come here. They also took my plate off me before my friend had finished making him feel rushed to finish. They need to learn...

A Saturday morning walk ended at Two-bob. We were seated promptly at an outdoor table at the pleasant venue. Our coffee arrived quickly and was great! We tried the harissa scrambled eggs - fiery and flavorful and perhaps needing a steak knife rather than the normal knife for super toasty sourdough. I had the okonomiyaki waffles, super flavourful but for the overwhelming amount of okonomiyaki sauce, a little less and the spiciness of kimchi would have come out better. All in all a great little place in Clifton Hill fully worth coming back to.

Stunning food and coffee, (surprised the overall Google rating isn’t higher). Everything on the menu is beautifully prepared and has a depth of quality and flavour, so anything I’ve ordered has been perfection. Nothing feel cheap or brashly thrown together, everything feels really intentionally crafted. I especially love the spiced oat porridge 💜 The staff are really warm and the St Ali coffee is served here - it’s so smooth and doesn’t have that bitter kick. This has easily become my fav breakfast spot for this part of town.
