Vege2go — Restaurant in Melbourne

First I have to compliment the customer service. I went in on a Wednesday. I'm not vegan by any means. I walked in and was greeted by Brandon. Not really ever having anything vegan, besides salads, I had no idea what to order. I asked Brandon what he suggested. He asked how hungry I was. I wasn't starving but I could eat. So he recommended their version of a "Big Mac". I like Big Macs so I thought I'd give it a shot.

When I got home I opened the box and was kind of in a surprise. First the burger looked exactly like the picture. Second it was a decent size. The first bite was amazing! No way in all that is great i would be able to tell the difference.

I went back the next day to try something else. Brandon was in the kitchen area. Remembered my name and what I ordered. Kind of shockin. He asked what I was gonna have. This time I tried the "crispy chicken ". I also got a Jr double burger just in case. All I have to say BEST CHICKEN SANDWICH BY FAR. Looks like I'll be coming here a lot more.......

Gross. Had a main meal, really didnt enjoy it, left the fake meat and just ate the rice and sauce (which was also not enjoyable), only ate it because i was starving and in a rush. I didnt want to complain so i bought a "quick" donut take away, took a while. They obviously only have one microwave... in a business based on microwave meals...?! Walked out, took a bite, donut also gross, it was like microwaved soggy thick bread with a TINY bit of jam. Went back in and asked for a refund. Took a while of conversing to be be given one. Feel sorry for the chick on till as it wasnt her fault, i was polite, but should have just given me the refund straight up when i asked....

I would like to express my deeply appreciation to the owner and friendly staffs of Vege2go. I am so glad that I found this place as they are so nice and patience, gave me a lot of useful advice and help me find the best food that suits my diet requirement. Also, their meals are very delicious, my family and I love it so much, especially the stuffed capsicum, vegan arancini and casserole. Not to mention that the food is packed to be easy carried and kept, so we always order a week's supply and they delivered it to our front door! That's so cool and save us a lot of time. Thanks and keep up...
