This place is so cute and had beautiful interior! The staff as so friendly and the service is amazing. The soba noodles was really nice and there was a generous amount of noodles provided and the tofu was cooked and seasoned beautifully! The portition size was very filling and worth the $18. The pistachios added nice crunch to this dish, giving it some more texture. There was a nice variety of vegetables however it would have been nice to get a few more of them. The eggplant dish was devine! so many textures and flavours and it looked so vibrant too! the salad itself had so many elements that all worked so well together and was beautifully seasoned. The eggplant was cooked perfectly and worked so well with the salad on top. The hummus was such a beautiful colour and tasted stunning too! The pancakes were so light and fluffy!! there was so many different elements on the dish and they all work in conjunction with eachother. The pancakes were generous as well as the toppings and additions. The mascapone was amazing to cut through the sweetness of the dish and the fruit added really nice freshness. The rhubarb and raspberry compote was tart but sweet at the same time which worked really well with the sweet pancakes. It would have been nice to get a few more pistachios or something else crispy to add some more crunch to the dish. The potato rosti were so so crispy and flavourful and the drink were Delish and refreshing! A must try cafe!!

We went to this Cafe in South Yarra on a weekday🥰. the food felt very tasty🤤 and nice👍. This place has always been popular and is on my food favourites list and after eating there this time, it felt amazing!! With my bestie friend 👭 eating a good brunch can be happy all day💓. We went there at noon and the shop was already full of people 🥹~~If you want to go for a nice brunch, please remember to go early! Recommended menu👇 - Hummus This one has toast 🍞, Eggs Benedict, grilled avocado 🥑, roasted pumpkin and fried cheese, so it's a great way to go after a workout with friends and feel healthy and stress-free, and it's delicious and filling too 🥹 The texture of the fried cheese is so special! - Ricotta pancakes We were attracted by the face value of this pancake🥞 overlay plate jam pancake 🥞 + mascarpone cheese 🧀️if the jam is dipped in too much, I feel that it will be a little bit sweet, but this can be eaten following their preferences for sweetness, with the cheese is also a different texture - Coconut chia pudding Coconut chia pudding 🍮, the coconut flavor is very strong, combined with the chia seed texture, it feels so so refreshing and delicious 😋! - ice chocolate I ordered the regular latte and my friend ordered ice chocolate. this ice chocolate has a layer of ice cream on top, and it tastes very mellow, My friend who loves Ovaltine says this is great! but I would feel a bit too sweet 🥹~!

Twas an impromptu brekky with the fam, and chose it as it does get a very good rap (or os it wrap? Anyhoo) . Alas, we didn't have an amazing experience. It probably fell short due to its own success. Let me explain. I grabbed a free table, but a no no, as they might have future bookings. That was my first impression/ interaction but the poor girl was probs stressed as it was busy, but thankfully we were fine and could stay, NOICE. But, I did feel like a naughty school boy heh heh. The next girl to help was lovely, but the Irish always are I reckons and we got our orders in. Did take a wee bit to get, but our coffees were luke warm, bugger! Our meals (mine was The Breakfast) arrived in reasonable time, they too weren't hot, and cold dippy egg/toast doesn't do the brekky any favours. So, being busy, is obviously great for them, but it did (this time) impact great service and our brekky. In saying that, my 2nd coffee did come out quickly and hot, so maybe we were just a tad unlucky. RE Atmosphere, as we were on Claremont Street, Stonnington Council has given the green light for more high rises (ahh, almost a mini Manhatten these days), so the jack hammer ambience for a street cafè area, doesn't help. Although, my inner child does like noisy cement trucks going past heh heh. The plus side, me little mate, Zip was able to enjoy the pooch friendly area.

Missing mango and papaya and dishonest manager I had the worst brunch experience in Melbourne at this restaurant. Despite having visited it twice before and having good experiences, last Saturday was a disappointment when I brought my 6-year-old daughter. I ordered the Thai chicken salad, expecting it to include green mango, papaya, cabbage, radish, etc., as indicated on the menu. Additionally, I ordered a kid's meal for my daughter, emphasizing to the manager multiple times that she couldn't have anything with sugar (chocolate) due to a recent teeth-removal surgery. However, when our orders arrived, the salad only contained chicken, cabbage, cucumber, and radish, lacking the promised green mango and papaya. Furthermore, the kid's meal had chocolate, despite my clear instructions. When I inquired about the missing ingredients, the waitress and manager explained that the mango and papaya were shredded into the dish, although I couldn't find any on the plate (refer to the attached photo). I voiced my concerns to the manager, who assured me that he would only charge for the coffee and bacon on the kid's meal. Unfortunately, upon later inspection, I realized that he had charged me for everything I ordered. This was a dishonest and sneaky practice, leaving me dissatisfied with the overall experience.

Recently we went down to the Two Birds One Stone Café, which is located really close to South Yarra station to try out some of their dishes:⠀ ⠀ 🥞 Ricotta Pancakes with Rhubarb and Raspberry Compote - I absolutely loved this! It wasn’t too sweet and the sourness from the berry compote wasn’t too overpowering. The flavours were so well balanced! The grapes also added a burst of sweetness which provided a different texture from the fluffy pancakes! 🍣 Citrus Cured Pan Seared Salmon - This dish was so satisfying! The salmon was cooked perfectly and the skin was crispy. I also loved the potato rosti, which was really crispy, but you can pull it apart easily to reveal the filling on the inside. 🍳 Crab Omelette with Salmon Cavier - I only took a bite because it was my friend’s dish, but I absolutely loved the texture of the egg, and the tomato really gave that burst of flavour. The crab meat on the top was also really tender. ☕️ Mocha⠀ ☕️ Chai Latte - One of the best Chai Latte’s I’ve had. The spices were not too strong, and you can pour it through a strainer provided! It was really good, no added sugar required! I could go for multiple glasses of this! The staff were lovely, they helped us when we were taking the photo, and we felt very welcomed! Would definitely go back again.

The most unique french toast texture I’ve ever tried 🤭 FOOD: I ordered the Twice Cooked Brioche French Toast as it is dubbed one of Melbourne’s very best! I can’t tell if I love it or not but I think it’s safe to say it is good! In terms of flavour, its amazing! The combination is simple but also done well so the bananas, chocolate sauce and anglaise compliment the french toast and macadamia praline but what is confusing me is the french toast texture. Now I don’t know what ‘twice cooked’ means exactly but from my opinion, it tastes almost... pudding-like? If that makes sense? HAHAHAH it didn’t taste like bread anymore?? Don’t get me wrong, it still had that amazing french toast but it tasted like a pudding, like undercooked bread so... I’m not sure if I love it but it is a very special texture and flavour! SERVICE: Service is pleasant and friendly! Situated in chic South Yarra, Two Birds One Stone is a beautiful cafe. It’s abit small but it’s lovely for just chilling and relaxing! If you want to try something abit different from a regular french toast but still want french toast, don’t hesitate giving TBOS a try! Also, the portion is humongous so its definitely worth it!
