Wok Wok BBQ — Restaurant in Melbourne

We ordered BBQ Pork on Rice, Honey Chicken on Rice, Pan-fried Pork Dumplings, Steamed Buns with Condensed Milk (Dipping Sauce) and Spring Onion Pancake for $54.90 - Takeaway.

Food - Good food for the price but a lot of sweet sauce which made the rice hard to finish. Steamed Buns were crisp on the outside and soft on the inside, almost like a donut consistency. Spring Onion Pancake is also fried and crispy. Pork Dumplings were soft and delicious.

Interior - Although we didn't dine in, we were seated inside waiting for our food. The chairs are very comfortable and they have a mix of large, medium and small tables and few booths at the back to dine in. Very spacious, but decor is a bit old.

Will be back to try the rest...

The usual Chinese place, normally the host is a guy, great services but tonight a women ran, asked her for water when ordering food and twice each time she deliver food with her confirming the request but never deliver. Normally extra fried egg is $2.50 on dish on rice, this women want $4!

So didn’t order anything else and normally I order more.

Didn’t feel full so went to the Neighbour shop for some nice Korean food

The menu got remade which is nice but it looks like copy and paste over as misspelling still shown...

Come here regularly for dinner, they have had a few staff turnovers, most are friendly but there's one new ish middle aged lady that always has a mask on, which always seems unhappy and hates her job/life everytime we dine in, she is rude when serving and whenever we asked a question she would sarcastically answer everytime. She would often side eye and roll her eyes towards customers whenever they needed service or help. Apart from this rude server, everyone else is fine and the food is also decent...
