I have never in my life been treated the way I was here. We ordered a family size Meat Lovers but we were more than shocked when it turned up. It had half cooked meatballs and the 'spicy salami' is not at all but some pieces of something. It wasn't spicy at all. It appeared to be some other sort of meat And there were only a few on each slice. All it really had were the meatballs and some BBQ sauce. Pathetic really for the cost. I tried getting it sorted the night we got it but was told in no uncertain terms that the meatballs are all cooked the same. Yet they were red and chewy. I even sent him a photo of it. I rung the store only to be perplexed with the whole stinking attitude to the manager. Eventually they decided to give me another pizza but only a large one which I didn't order that size. I ordered a family for a reason. The next day I rung back to sort it out and got the rudiest and obnoxious manager who wanted to know all the ends and outs. He didn't believe the meatballs were not cooked properly. I explained that I ordered a family size but only received a large because I gave them back the other pizza. Whomever took the call should use some manners when dealing with paying customers. I still can't get how rude he manner was and the rest of the staff towards me.He was calling me a liar without any proof. Eventually I was asked "You got another Meat Lovers pizza. What's your problem now?" "You already got a replacement pizza. What more do you want?" I explained that I just wanted the pizza that I ordered. Eventually, I was told that I could get a small pizza for free. Yippee! As long as I called them first and it was before 5 days. The pizzas are no good, we weren't certainly buying from them. Nick's pizza is worth the extra money and time to wait. Try the pizzas but you will be...
Read moreNow I’m simple man. I love pizza, nothing more nothing less. In fact I’ve been known to eat 8 family pizzas a week! My story is short but sweet, my beautiful girlfriend and I went to Rye for a romantic holiday. Oh what fun we had! Everything was perfect, a picturesque location filled with adventure, mystery and romance. On our last night we both had a hankering for pizza. We were staying nearby so we decided to go for a lovely moonlit walk down the beach and order some doughy goodness. We walked along with stars in our eyes and wonder in hearts. On our hunt for some delicious Italian pizza, we spied Xpress Pizza and it immediately caught our eyes. With much gusto we went in swiftly and ordered 2 large pizzas.
Now... I’m not the one to complain about service, but the workers were absolutely ghastly! I brushed this off, and after a short while we got the goods. We raced back to our accomodation to enjoy our delicious feast. We opened our boxes and took a slice and dug in. I’m not too sure what happened but a sudden dreadful feeling expelled into my stomach. My beautiful girlfriend’s perfect porcelain face contorted in disgust. Her eyes welled with tears as she looked into mine. I tried to put on a brave face for her but alas I succumbed to tears. We both embraced eachother and began to sob uncontrollably and violently. We sobbed and sobbed into the wee hours of the night. I exaggerate not my dear friends, DO NOT under any circumstances order from this hellhouse masquerading as a fine pizza establishment! I stared into the devil’s eyes that night, and it was...
Read moreCalled up to order a 5 pizzas, got told after placing my order that I had to pay over the phone and had to give my full card details, offered to pay cash on pickup and was still told no. Went down and got the pizzas, service was fine. Took the pizzas home on my lap the entire time, walked them in the front door, sat them on the table and opened the boxes to find the back of an earring stud in one of the boxes. Wasn’t overly concerned but thought I’ll call because if the back of the earring is in the box, where is the front of the earring, probably someone else’s pizza. The young girl sounded so shocked on the phone and said she’d get the manager. She talk me off hold early and I could hear her saying ‘who’s earring is it?’. The manager mumbled something that I couldn’t understand. He grabbed the phone and when I tried to explain to him he tried to accuse us of it being OUR earring, only one of us has our ears pierced and wears hoops exclusively but he kept saying well it wasn’t anyone’s here. I said to him that I wasn’t angry, just wanted to let him know because I was concerned that there could be the front of earring in someone else’s and he said ‘no there couldn’t, it’s not ours’. I explained again that I wasn’t angry and just trying to help even though realistically it’s a health hazard. He just shrugged it off, no apology, no nothing. Absolutely disgusting customer service, I was polite, was trying to be courteous and wasn’t wanting anything in return and I’m met with being blamed for their appalling...
