Came here for a Mother’s Day lunch with the fam and WOW it did not disappoint! From the moment we walked in we were warmly greeted and even was wished a Happy Mothers Day we were than promptly served. We decided to sit outside as the weather was absolutely beautiful. The lovely lady came out and gave me a chair from inside the restaurant so that I could sit comfortably.. little things like that make it more enjoyable. The gyro was so tasty so flavorsome, the lettuce, tomato and onion were so fresh and CRISPY. The pita bread was just enough thickness not too thick and not too thin and cooked perfectly! The chips were lightly golden (key note - fresh oil not old) and the seasoning on it was perfection! Kudos to the owners and the workers of this place you guys are doing a phenomenal job and most importantly CLEAN and good FRESH quality beautiful Greek food! Thank you to the beautiful lady and young man that served us we had such a wonderful day there! Bravo to all of you we can’t wait to come back! Salivating just...

What truly distinguishes this eatery is the outstanding service. After a chilly swim, we walked in craving something warm. Bayside Souvlaki Cafe is located on the main drag of Point Nepean Road in Rye. They serve up authentic charcoaled gyros as well as some homemade Greek dips and desserts.

Next time I’m in Rye, I know...
