I don't often post, but i hope this helps the owner of this business because the place has potential. Who thought cooking eggs was so hard... So disappointed :( My pregnant partner and I went here for breakfast 2/1/19 before an appointment at the hospital for baby. Unfortunately being pregnant means you can't eat eggs unless they are cooked through (no runny yolk). The person took our order with cooked through egg and repeated it back to us which was great. My breakfast came out great, hers came out with runny yolk, so we explained it to the waitress and she said no problem and took it back. I decided to wait to eat my breakfast until hers was cooked. it came out again, and once again the yolk was runny. So again it went back to the kitchen, and even though my partner said eat, I waited, because how long would it take to hard boil eggs... 10 mins later we were still waiting. by this time we were getting late for our appointment so we decided to request a refund and leave. Still hungry and forced to go through Maccas because of time, having said that the service at Maccas put these guys to shame!!!... It is already hard for a pregnant person to eat because of the unbelievable restrictions these days, so this experience ruined what was supposed to be a nice relaxing morning before our baby...

Hands down the best customer service from the lovely gentleman who was in charge. This morning my friend and I came in for breakfast and I ordered the pancakes with berries. Unfortunately the pancakes were incredibly dry and over cooked and sadly inedible. That being said, I really didn’t want to be rude and cause an issues because they were busy and staff were doing a great job staying on top of things. The manager (I’m assuming) came over immediately when he noticed I wasn’t really touching my plate, and asked if everything was okay. I informed him of the issue and he went straight in to fix it whilst still being super polite and considerate despite what I felt like would be a hassle for them. He informed me that it would be a bit of a wait for another serve of pancakes, so I chose a banana bread which was super delicious! He was also kind enough to refund me for my meal, and even gave me a little box of treats for the inconvenience. So many places would have just given a refund or a different meal, but this lovely guy (I’m a sorry again that I didn’t catch your name) went above and beyond to make sure I had a good experience. Service like this is why I will return to the Crooked Spire time...

I absolutely loved my visit to this cafe! From the moment I walked in, the vibrant artwork on the walls created such a warm and inviting atmosphere. But the real stars? The incredible coffee and delicious food!

The coffee was exactly how I like it – strong, bold, and utterly satisfying. Food-wise, I was spoiled for choice. The sandwich was awesome, featuring yummy, crunchy, incredibly fresh bread (🍞 heaven!). The breaky wrap was also super good – packed with flavor and perfectly cooked.

What truly elevated the experience was the amazing staff. They were genuinely friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect.

The space itself is thoughtfully designed with lots of different seating options. Whether you want to sink into a comfy couch with a coffee table, perch at a high table, or relax at a normal-sized table, there's a perfect spot for everyone. It’s ideal for working, catching up with friends, or just chilling.
