Absolutely blown away by our experience at The Mudpot! We came for the buffet and were amazed at how every single item was beautifully cooked and thoughtfully prepared. The dishes weren’t just delicious—they felt like they were made with heart. 🌶️🍛

You can really taste the care that goes into each curry, sambol, and vegetable—flavours were deep, balanced, and full of warmth, with a great variety to suit all tastes. The vegan options were especially impressive—not just an afterthought, but truly flavourful and satisfying in their own right.

We also tried the Ceylon milk tea, and wow—what a treat. It’s slowly brewed for you (none of that rushed, powdery stuff), and the aroma of real spices comes through in every sip. Honestly better than most bubble teas out there. ☕🫖

To top it all off, the owner was incredibly kind and welcoming, taking time to explain the dishes and check in on guests. You can feel that this is more than just food—it’s sharing a piece of Sri Lankan culture and hospitality.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Mudpot in Midland, and I can honestly say it was one of the best Sri Lankan meals I’ve had in Perth. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly, and the cozy, relaxed atmosphere made us feel right at home.

The food was absolutely outstanding. We tried the Pork Black Curry with Coconut Roti, and it was simply bursting with authentic flavours — perfectly spiced, rich, and comforting. You could really taste the passion and tradition behind every dish. The Sunday buffet was also incredible, offering a wide variety of curries, sambols, and traditional rice dishes. The jackfruit curry, in particular, was a standout — tender and packed with flavour.

Service was fantastic too — friendly, attentive, and genuinely eager to make sure we had a great experience. It felt like being invited into a Sri Lankan home for a family meal.
