Nice cafe which I came to with my mum. Unfortunately we were made to feel like second hand citizens. They have 2 areas - a cafe diner area and a nicer carpeted area with more comfortable seating for my mum with lovely art on the walls. We were told the nicer area was closed without an explanation. There were clearly 7-8 people in first class area enjoying themselves and each other’s company and when I enquired if we could sit in there the lady insisted the area was closed. She did offer to bring a cushion for my mum who has a bad back which was lovely so we accepted this. We arrived over an hour before closing time and sat in the diner area looking into the other room where people continued to enjoy themselves at their different tables and ordering more food & coffee. The whole experience was just bizarre. Food was nice & I would have given it over it 4 stars if it weren’t for the second hand treatment. We left before most people sitting in first class had finished ordering. I don’t think I’ll be coming back here on that basis

This cafe is a little hidden gem šŸ’Ž. As visitor to the Highlands I was pleasantly surprised by how reasonably priced the menu was. There was a lovely atmosphere in the cafe and table service made for a relaxing experience. I also couldn’t fault the staff who were prompt taking our orders and very friendly 😁. Meals and drinks were delicious, and made quickly.

Amazing Cafe! The service is outstanding and the staff make you appreciate the community you live in. Well done for being such a bastion of hospitality in the Highlands. Oh! And their coffee is amazing! Try their coffee!

Unprofessional service and poor quality food. We walked in at 1:45pm and were told bluntly that the kitchen closed in 3 minutes, this kind of made us feel unwelcome. Clearly the staff had better things to do than be at work. We ordered the chicken burgers which were awful, the chicken breast was dark brown as if it was cooked in sump oil and the rolls were hard like wood and smelt like they had been in the freezer, thawed out in a microwave and then grilled, they had that yucky freezer smell and it was very difficult to chew through them. There was also a lack of atmosphere, some soft music would soften the mood. Very...

The WORST toasted sandwich ever in my whole life. We ordered 2 toasted sandwiches and 2 hot chocolates, the drinks came out very quick and hot, after waiting a further 15 minutes we asked about our sandwiches. which we were told would be out shortly, when they came they were burnt and you couldn't bite it it was so hard you needed a jack hammer, when you hit it with the spoon it sounded like concrete, We left the food paid the bill after making a remark to the waitress, Should have called the manager, But was so disgusted This was Friday morning, paid the...
