Tucked away in the charming Beadman Centre on Argyle Street, Sattahip Thai stands as a beacon of authentic Thai cuisine in Moss Vale, Australia. As one ventures into the southern highlands, this eatery is a must-visit, offering an exquisite culinary journey that delights the senses .

From the moment you step through the door, you’re greeted by a warm, friendly ambiance that instantly transports you to the bustling streets of Bangkok. The decor exudes a rustic charm, complemented by an inviting and comfortable setting. It’s here that the magic of Sattahip Thai begins to unfold.

The menu at Sattahip Thai reads like a love letter to Thailand’s rich culinary tradition. From the perfectly cooked curry puffs to the delightful pad Thai and hearty fish cakes, every dish is a testament to the restaurant’s commitment to authenticity . The flavors are bold yet harmonious, with each bite revealing a new layer of complexity. The use of fresh ingredients is evident, and the careful balance of spices speaks volumes about the culinary prowess at work behind the scenes.

What truly sets Sattahip Thai apart, however, is its unwavering dedication to customer service. The staff is friendly and attentive, their commitment to providing a memorable dining experience palpable from the moment you’re seated. The service is authentic, reminiscent of the warm Thai hospitality one would encounter on the bustling streets of Thailand.

Whether you’re seeking a quick takeaway meal or a leisurely dine-in experience, Sattahip Thai delivers on all fronts. Its offerings cater to a range of dietary preferences, with vegetarian and vegan options available alongside traditional...

Honestly if your not getting a panang curry lunch special your missing out one of the finer things in life. $12 for chicken and $14 for duck its an accomplishment as much in taste as it is in affordability. Extremely generous servings for both eat and take away options, what more can you ask for nowadays?

It features a rich and mildly spiced curry of peanut and coconut that in all sense of the words is an authentic thai comfort food. Perfect for those drizzly winter days it will be certain to become a staple even in the summer off season. I highly recommend modify your dish with added snow peas for a bit of an added variety and sweet crispness that cuts through the richness.

As someone who has genuinely had this dish hundreds of time with an almost religous routine I will be offended and critical of your judgement if you do not become an immediate fan.

The service at Sattahip is a family affair and is hospitality as organically as it comes, which keeps me coming back for more and late to return to work. It may not be the fanciest venue but sit back and enjoy a genuine atmosphere filled with small personal details and being treated like a person instead of a wallet. As a well kept secret it is a small operation and if it is busy patience may be required but every dish is one best served with anticipation.

100%...

As we never had Thai food before, I must admit we were bit skeptical about trying it given that we are very picky about food options. But given the reviews, being around Moss Vale around lunch time and no other better alternative we decided to try Sattahip Thai. As a trial we ordered 2 items for 4 adults - Ginger Pepper sauce Chicken Stir Fry with Jasmine Rice and Thai Green curry with Jasmine Rice. Both were mind-blowing, the flavours just stood out craving for more. As the trial was successful , we decided to order 2 more items - Chilli Basil sauce Chicken Stir Fry with Jasmine Rice and Thai Chicken Fried Rice. Our expectations set very high now, the next 2 items were equally awesome served piping hot. Out of all the 4 my favourite was the Thai Chicken Fried Rice which the staff had recommended me to try out. So glad we tried the Thai cuisine today and now become big fans of it. The staff including the Chef were extremely welcoming and polite. The cost is very economical for the taste they offer. This place is a must visit if you are...

The pad see ew and Thai fried rice had good wok hei (smokiness) but the portions were pretty small. The salt and pepper calamari is nice and crispy - it's OK but could do with more salt/spice/pepper (the red powder is, I think, paprika - offers colour but not much flavour). The crying tiger (grilled beef) was unfortunately overcooked and dry. Also, the sauces served with the calamari and crying tiger are cold (probably straight from the fridge) which then turns the food cold when you dip - it would be better to warm the sauces to room temp to serve. Presentation of the dishes is very nice, and very friendly service with a smile.

We had a lovely meal at Sattahip Thai! The curry was freshly cooked with a unique fusion twist—not too spicy or salty, but slightly sweet, which made it delicious and comforting. The flavours were balanced and definitely tasty. What made the experience even more special was the warm hospitality—the staff took time to chat with us and even recommended a few local spots to visit since we were traveling from Sydney. Such thoughtful service made our visit memorable!
