Cosmopolitan Pizzeria & Pasta Kitchen — Restaurant in Mount Gambier

Horrible. The service was terrible and very unwelcoming. We had to sit on a bar table because there were only 3 of us so we couldn't have a normal table with chairs as the two smaller tables were taken and we couldn't have one of the bigger tables. So that was awful service immediately and made us feel unwelcome. We ordered two pasta dishes a side salad and small pizza. Pizza burnt but watery inside. Pasta just tasted like undercooked glug with butter in it. Over priced and terrible. We left most of it. Went to toilet. Mens toilets had sign on door, out of order, do not enter. Ladies toilets had urine on floor in front of toilet and build up of dust and grime everywhere, especially behind door where they obviously never mop. YUCK. Would NEVER go...

Genuinely the best pizza we have ever tasted. Got the meaty pizza and Australian. Both tasted delicious and service was outstanding. Well deserved 5 star. The kind man gave us a better deal which was splendid, the staff were all smiling and chatted to us, wait was only 15 minutes, and the owner even taught us some brief history of the establishment - would recommend asking if you’re nearby. As visitors of Mt Gambier, we were looking for a good place to stop by for dinner but we were surprised and blown away. We will return. Be warned, you won’t be the same after tasting this....

I quite enjoyed my couple times going in here with my wife and sharing a pizza and a wine. The bloke that runs the show goes far and beyond service wise. He makes you feel very much at home when dining in, and is as friendly as they come. As far as takeaway- I even seen him scoot off from behind the counter and open the door up a few times for the customers walking out. Now ladies if your looking for a gentleman look no further then this pizza bar!! He's a top bloke, not sure if he's taken or not, but I guess there's no harm in trying...
