The food looks beautiful and the service was good but honestly I thought the food was a bit average. The coffee was ok. I had the knefeh french toast. I love knefeh and usually and have it from a food truck run my an iraqi guy. I thought a combination of that in a French toast would be super interesting. It looked good but wasn’t anything to call home about. I thought ok maybe that’s because I don’t usually eat sweet things for breakfast and it just wasn’t the right time for me to enjoy it. So we went again the next day, I had the fried chicken bao. Chicken was dry and it had kewpie mayo and sambal with it. I’m Malaysian and I can definitely say it tastes more like bottled chilli sauce then sambal. I don’t expect it to be authentic, but would expect any fusion (like the knefeh French toast) to be a bit more thought out. Good fusion dishes are amazing but this was just a bit ave which was disappointing considering the great reviews. If you’re looking for Instagrammable food though, this place is your bet.

Really excited to come here for breakfast as we are down here on holiday from Adelaide. Beautiful area and the decor is very well done. Neat and tidy cafe. When we arrived I could tell they were flat out busy so was expecting at least a 30min wait on food. I think we would have appreciated being told what the wait was going to be for food all the same. Coffee came out after a 45min wait and food was finally out after 55min wait. The manager was lovely and apologetic however I just think that’s far too long to be waiting for food even if it is busy..(or a heads up on the wait would be good). The bacon and egg roll was great however I was disappointed with the big breakfast (priced at $30). Surprising to see it only came with 1 mushroom and 1 hash brown. It was also just not seasoned at all and felt not worth the wait or the price. Coffee was fab and general vibes were good, just not sure why we had to wait so long for an average meal.

Great ambiance, spacious, modern look and very near the hotel we booked so its convenient. Food tasted delicious. We ordered scrambled egg with pecorino cheese and chilli shrimp toast. Perfection! Great way to start the day. We overall had a good experience but not a 5 because of the following: - Lady customer beside us who came in first had to follow up her coffee and then her order. A great customer service would be once she raised a follow up on her coffee is to check if she has any other pending order. We didn't experience this though and ours came in just right on time. But I felt bad for her as it looks like she’s been waiting for quite some time. - A bit pricey. One cookie now cost $8, used to be $5. I did notice they were selling cute easter chocolate products which looks inviting and colorful. UPDATE: went back again for breakfast and other than it takes time for the food to come out, food still taste great.
